Atlantis Beach — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

The hotel/apartments are located in a quiet area with 5-6 restaurants within working distance. Several supermarkets close to the hotel, the nearest is located just in front of the hotel. 4 km to Platanias (lots of bars and restaurants) and 7 km from Chania. Busstop about 100 meter from the hotel. Busservice in both directions every 20 minute. ||Limited service in the reception, only open a few hours every day, however the restaurant and bar are open from 8 a'clock in the morning to midnight, so any need for help/assistance are being given from the restaurant. Very good service in the restaurant/bar with a reasonable number of dishes and to an reasonable price.||As the restaurant are located directly on the beach you have a beautiful view to the sea. Sun bed and umbrella can be rented for 6 Euro for a full day, which is a bit strange as most restaurants/hotesl located on the beach in the area don't charge for sun bed etc. if you are guest either at the hotel or restaurant. The sign " free sun beds for our guests" are very common, but not at Atlantis. Rooms are OK all with a balcony, some with sea view. Bathroom newly renovated and up-to day. Safetybox in the room. Bottom line, small cheap hotel, with a family like atmosphere, especially from the female servants in the restaurant/bar. Going back to the hotel again ? yes...

We stayed here for 2 weeks, and we loved every minute of it! You get a amazing seaside view with the sound of the sea to sleep on. The rooms are typically Greek and have everything you need. You can eat delicious food right on the beach in the shade. The staff is amazing and wil do anything to make you enjoy your stay and are all smiles! The airconditioning is super silent. The hotel is on the very end of the street with lot's if good restaurants and shops. Park in front of the hotel. We recommend this hotel highly! Vælg hotellet hvis du bare skal sydpå, og det ikke behøver være specielt spændende.||||Vi er overordnet set tilfredse, da vi købte en uge (fly+hotel) til 1.200 pr mand på afbud, men vender ikke tilbage. Normalpriserne stemmer SLET ikke med det lave kvalitetsniveau.||||Vores referenceramme består af alt fra 5-stjernede strandhoteller på Zanzibar til vandrerhjem i Jylland.||||Hotellet er OK, prisen taget i betragtning. Bravo Tours klassificerer det som værende 3-stjernet, men det er kun tildelt 2 stjerner af den græske hotelorganisation, hvilket er helt normalt.||||Positivt: ||-Hotellet ligger i Stalos, som er meget mere roligt end Platanias og Agia Marina. ||-Poolen har en god størrelse||-Der er som regel høflig betjening, og personalet er generelt imødekommende||||Negativt:||-Der er voldsom trafikstøj, og der bor herreløse hunde i den tomme bygning ved siden af. De holder mange gæster vågne nat efter nat.||-Værelserne er håbløst gammeldags, mørke og utiltalende, som det så ofte ses i Grækenland.||-Altanerne er placeret i U-konstruktion direkte overfor andre altaner, således at man har 10+ lejligheder, som kigger direkte over på både ens egen altan, og ind i ens værelse. Tåbeligt lavet.||-Morgenmaden er SÅ kedelig. Jeg havde hellere købt opholdet uden morgenmad og spist ude. ||||Køber man morgenmad som en del af opholdet, er prisen ca. 30 kr pr måltid, så det er billigt. Men til gengæld er kaffen ikke til at drikke (altid kold og ekstremt stærk), omeletten er tilsyneladende dyppet i salt, og brødet er med garanti meget tørt. Andet er der ikke at vælge imellem.||||Der er fremragende transportmuligheder til Chania, og det kan varmt anbefales at leje bil eller MC og køre turen til Samaria-kløften...
