Read moreVery hospitable and friendly hosts at Hotel Evilion greeted us when we arrived. A family run, small hotel with adjoining bistro set back from the main road with a lovely garden and pool area. ||As we are visiting in October it was quiet, only a few rooms occupied (I guess there about 16 in total?) and we had a really peaceful break in the sun. Our studio room was plenty big enough, cleaned every day except for Sunday, linen and towels changed regularly, kept immaculately clean, fridge oven and microwave included. Also included was a safe and air conditioning all for less than £23 a night which is quite unbelievable. ||It's very central to bars, shops and restaurants and close to the bus stop into Chania. It's no more than 100m from the sea too!||We had a great time here, wouldn't need to think twice about booking it again as it cannot be faulted, and such...
Read moreWe had a good-sized apartment with three single beds, fully equipped kitchen (we only needed to buy dish soap), and clean bathroom. The water pressure was really good. There's a little balcony, complete with cats. It was nice and cool in the room, and there are lots of windows and natural light. The wifi is really good. The pool area is beautiful and immaculate, really clean. There are hammocks, a swing set, and a nice table. The sea is a two minute walk away, as are lots of nice restaurants and bars. You can get a bus from nearby that takes you into the middle of Chania, comes every half an hour (ish) and costs 1.60. Staff are lovely, speak amazing English and couldn't have done more for us. The lady who came to clean our room was lovely and even let us stay past our check-out time when the weather wasn't great. My friend fell off the hammock - highlight of...
