Eloque Simple living space — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Noisy place, the hotel is renovated, unfortunately the doors were not replaced, you hear every little noise in the hallway and even the noise in the other rooms, showering, washing the hands, snoring, talking, everything. On top, many other guests are really loud, children are playing and screaming late until night. The owner knows the problem but doesn't tell the customer and sells you for a fool. When we raised the issue, the owner became loud. Nearly all the other guests had the same problem. The hotel is far too expensive when you consider that you sleep so badly and are taken for a fool. The rooms are very small, it is stated that the rooms are 17 square metres in size, they are very small square metres... At breakfast, you can play with begging cats. If you leave your table for 3 minutes, the cats jump on the table, and they share your meal. Not recommendable, unfortunately bad cretan experience. BUT! Irini, the lady who serves the guests with breakfast and drinks, she's sweet and really helpfull and careful, it was nice to meet her. A true cretan spirit.

Intimate and friendly accommodation ideal for couples like us: in the morning a delicious breakfast in both savory and sweet and then a trip to explore the island! And there are a lot of attractions on it, by the way, the hotel hosts will tell you everything - where to eat well, which beach to visit and what you definitely need to try while on vacation here. And afterwards: a restorative sleep after watching the beautiful sunset above the roofs of Chania’s buildings and over the horizon of the sea visible from the balcony. The location away from the main street provides silence and the refrigerator with cold drinks downstairs provides refreshment at any time of the day or night. Great location, only 10’ away from Chania. Everything looks recently remodeled. Rooms are very clean, nice balcony.

The property is at the dead end of a narrow road on a short hill. There are only a few parking spots on the narrow street, but we always found down on the Main Street. You just have to walk up about 2’

Breakfast is very fresh, and they always add something different everyday, which is appreciated when you stay 7 days like us. If you come down early, you’ll be able to eat freshly baked baguettes
