Mossa Well Being Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We had a perfect stay at Mossa Hotel and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing time in Crete.

Starting with my highlight, especially when it comes to service, this was the best experience I've ever made so far in a hotel. We were impressed by the hospitality, everyone was so friendly, always open for questions of any kind, there were no wishes unfulfilled - the service was exceptional! We felt very welcomed and comfortable at any time, the atmosphere is just special and feels very personal. Everyone wanted to grant us the best experience, we were given countless tips for our travel with destination inspirationd and local restaurant recommendations. You are literally able to feel that the whole staff is honestly caring about your well-being. Especially Alex, Monika and Clarissa made our stay unforgettable and gave us a unique experience down to the smallest detail :-).

The hotel is located 20 minutes by car outside of Chania and only a 40 min drive from the airport. For us the location of the hotel was perfect, the area is very calm and there are 4 very nice beaches in only 5 min walking distance. It's a lovely area for walking and exploring, also commuting to Chania with bus/taxi is easy and reasonable. The hotel is greatly located for visiting West and Central Crete (e.g. Balos, Elafonisi, Rethymno,...).

The hotel facility and interior all look very new, the rooms are spacious, very clean and equipped with everything you might need, the beds are very comfortable. During our stay there was a construction site ongoing on the opposite side of the street, maybe sound insulation could be a little better, but we were not disturbed by it. We enjoyed our balcony and also the spa and pool areas are great with cozy sunbeds, overall you can nicely rest and relax at Mossa Hotel.

The breakfast (and also other food and drinks we had) was also amazing!! I loved the selection and daily variety on the a la card menu, everything we had was freshly prepared and delicious!

If you're planning on a stay in the area around Chania, I can strongly recommend staying at Mossa Well Being Hotel without...

We have quite a bit of experience with travel (most of North America, Central America, most of Europe, East Asia, South Asia, etc.) and therefore have seen our share of hotels. This particular property was designed, built, and finished with guests in mind. The details are thought through - from small ones like built-in bars on the balcony to dry your clothes and makeup mirrors to big ones like large showers, well-lit rooms and bathrooms, storage, central air conditioning, TVs with smart apps (hello, Netflix), etc.

The area is great - a short drive to Chania, in front of a park (where one can jog/run), a choice of four beaches, plenty of restaurants around AND one at the property. Bravo.

Special shout-out to service staff. Super friendly, courteous, prompt. The owner is incredibly attentive to guests' needs.

Superbly (I repeat, - superbly) comfortable mattress. Perhaps better than some people have in their homes. Fantastic, comfortable pillows Two magnifying makeup mirrors for women and one full length mirror. Incredibly comfortable sofa (in a hotel? am I dreaming? what?) Smartly designed rooms with storage out of sight. Large balconies with a view of the pool. Built-in clothes drying rods out of sight. Luxurious bathrooms with large showers White, soft, thick, fluffy, CLEAN towels. Bravo. TV with smart apps Strong, fast WiFi everywhere Beautiful finishes. The interior design of their lobby, the exterior design of their lawn/pool/breakfast area is gorgeous. High quality pool lounge chairs High quality pool umbrellas Very nice breakfast area. Breakfast is superb and plentiful. Any choice of coffee (espresso/cap/french press, etc) Fresh glass of orange juice at breakfast, every day Gym, sauna, hammam, and a dance studio!

Fantastic value for money....

We stayed in room 19 last week as a family of 3. Wow where do I begin, the welcome we first recieved was friendly and very efficient probably the fastest time we have ever checked in. The room maisonette was beautiful and spacious. We would like to commend the cleaners for all their hard work they do a fantastic job. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and very well presented we have taken home some good ideas and incorporated them into our daily work breakfast. The staff on the bar from breakfast throughout the day are hard working, pleasant and happy to help sorry I didn't get your names you are all amazing! The team at the front desk what can I say other than amazing! Sorry we missed Alex on our last day as we had a gift we forgot to leave for him 🥺 but we will be back next year with all the family! The Greek night is not to be missed Christos was very involved in dancing and involving everyone we had a fantastic night! And lovely to see all the staff getting involved. The hotel amenities ie pool, spa, gym, classes again amazing. The area is beautiful with a park opposite to walk round, or the coastal route in to chania. 4 beautiful beaches within easy walking distance we spent many days on Iguana beach. The number 21 bus stopped outside the hotel very easy into Chania town in 15 minutes which is absolutely beautiful the harbour is a must for some great restaurants and dancing. I highly recommend mossa to anyone wanting to visit Chania it's been a fantastic experience and we cannot wait to return. I would just like to add that firstly i cannot believe this is a 3 star hotel it is better than some of the 5 stars we have stayed in, the team are all so passionate at this hotel and it really shows well done to all of you and look forward to seeing you...
