Blue Sky Hotel Apts — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

Arrived home yesterday had glorious weather everyday. Apartment location good just a short walk to sea/front. Staff very friendly, good choice for breakfast cooked choices made to order. Bar served snacks and was open on a evening. Irni worked so hard during the day. Nice pool area didn't get sunbed wars most days there were spare beds. Had a problem but was sorted out by staff quickly even though it was out of office hours. Also had power cut and no water for a few hours. (no fault of apartments) gave us bottled water to wash, or use in toilet (not drinkable)|Apartment was ground floor with a large patio with 4 beds so a good size. . Beds rock hard pillows OK. Definitely needs a update lot of furniture was old and heavily stained. Room cleaned everyday but think a new mop would be good as feet always black. Safe was free, aircon 8e per night but worth it for the mosses. Had lots of ants on patio and round by pool but not in room..|The main issue for us was cats.. According to the staff a stray cat had come to the apartment and then given birth to 7 kittens they were taking measures to get them to a rescue centre but no luck yet. Staff very apologetic about it. But cannot believe that people staying there were openly feeding the cats during breakfast encouraging the kittens to always be begging for food and climbing on chairs and tables while other people still eating. If you must feed them do it away from the breakfast area.|Would we return probably not unless rooms were updated and no cats. Good food at Knossos,...

We stayed for one week at the end of May and into June 2024.|Excellent clean and well maintained accommodation with staff being very friendly and very helpful.|The accommodation was very good and the room had a small kitchette which had some basic equipment in it including the all important fridge.|We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and there was a choice of what to have; either cooked British breakfast or a good selection for a Continental type.|If refreshments were required during the day or evening there was a bar with very helpful and cordial staff.|The pool was inviting and well maintained and many sun loungers were also available poolside.|As the apartments are up a well surfaced lane there is little passing traffic and, consequently, the accommodation is quiet but it is only about 200m to the beach.|The added bonus to staying at these apartments is the fact that the same family own one of the major restaurants in the town, it is called Knossos, and whoever stays at the apartments can have 10% off their bill at the restaurant!|Free WiFi is also available with a good connection in the room and air conditioning is also available, but at a small charge, which is standard practice in Greece.|There is also a safe available in the room and there is no charge for that which is another bonus!|Special mention must go to the manager, Maria, and the bar manager, Johanna, who's company we very...

Well I can only say one thing about my stay 'SHOCKING!' |If you wasn't bitten by ants you were lucky. |Rooms are very basic. I could class my stay as a B&B stay. I feel they need to look at the cleaning of the apartments. Out toilet wasn't cleaned ones and sweeping and mopping is non existent. You couldn't walk around without shoes. |You couldn't self cater because there wasn't no microwave, hobs and cutlery was I believe what other people had left. Our kettle had to be removed from the top over to the table due to plugs and omg you couldn't pick it up without a towel as it was so hot! |Shower!! Yuk! The bathroom turned into a full shower room because the shower curtain did nothing and the shower tray was pointless. ||I can't even say about the towels and changing of the towels. You only had your towels changed every three days unless you paid €5 but when you had them changed they were stain anyway. ||Bedding not getting changed until four days after your stay is just pointless as two days later your leaving. ||Aircon is €8 per day which was very noisy from over people's rooms and when others have it on all night long it's very draining just the noise. ||No support from reception if you need anyone before 9.30 or after 4pm.
