Maison Aqua Suite — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

We recently had the pleasure of renting an apartment with George at Luxury Maison Aqua Suite in Crete, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience!

Location: The location of the condo was amazing — just a short walk to the beach, making it perfect for relaxing days by the sea. It was conveniently situated near Knosos and Agios Nikolaos allowing us easy access to fantastic dining options and local attractions. This made our stay feel centered and made it easy to explore everything Crete has to offer.

From the moment we arrived, George was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were spot-on, making our stay even more enjoyable.

As for the apartment itself, it was absolutely amazing. Each bedroom featured adjustable air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were delighted to find wonderful provisions left for us. The Nespresso coffee machine was a lovely touch, allowing us to enjoy fresh coffee each morning.

Everything was impeccably clean, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciated George's hospitality and attention to detail, and we are so grateful we chose to stay here. I recently stayed at this apartment in Chersonisos, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The owner was incredibly rude and downright mean. From the moment we arrived, he was unwelcoming and seemed to take pleasure in making our stay miserable.

The apartment itself was not as advertised. It was dirty and poorly maintained, with several amenities either broken or missing entirely. To make matters worse, the owner tried to charge us for a variety of things that were not our responsibility. We were billed for damages that existed before we arrived, and he even tried to charge us extra for basic necessities like towels and toilet paper.

Additionally, the owner was constantly lurking around, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He would barge into the apartment without warning, citing bogus reasons to check on things. This complete lack of privacy was unacceptable and added to the overall unpleasantness of our stay.

Overall, this place is a scam. The owner is only interested in squeezing as much money as possible from his guests, and he does so with a nasty attitude. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. This was an absolute nightmare, and I would never recommend...

We had an absolutely fantastic week in Hersonissos with my friends! The house was perfect for us – spacious, clean, and exactly as described. George is an amazing host, always available if we had any questions and incredibly welcoming. Everything was perfectly arranged from the moment we arrived until the day we left.

One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi, which was spotless and cleaned by George every single time – such a thoughtful detail that made our stay even more relaxing. We also loved the location: close to the beach, great restaurants, and the lively nightlife of Hersonissos, yet still quiet enough to enjoy peaceful evenings at the house.
