Dear Management,
I recently had the opportunity to stay at your esteemed establishment, Mari Kristin Hotel, during my visit to Crete. Regrettably, I feel compelled to express my disappointment regarding the overall quality of my experience, particularly with regard to the room accommodations and associated amenities.
Firstly, it is important to note that the room I was provided did not meet the expected standards of a four-star hotel. I was taken aback by the additional charge imposed for the use of air conditioning, amounting to 5 euros per day. Such a practice is uncommon for a hotel of this rating, especially considering the considerable cost of my stay. As a result, I was left with no choice but to acquire the air conditioning unit to ensure a decent and comfortable sleep, as the noise levels outside prevented me from leaving the door open.
Furthermore, the room itself was remarkably small, allowing for minimal mobility around the bed. This cramped environment significantly detracted from the overall comfort and convenience that one would anticipate in a four-star establishment.
In terms of the advertised internet service, it pains me to report that it was virtually non-existent throughout my stay. Despite the hotel's claims of providing reliable internet access, I was forced to rely on my personal roaming service for the duration of my week-long visit. This unexpected inconvenience not only inconvenienced my communication needs but also resulted in additional expenses that were not accounted for in my initial plans.
The absence of streaming services on the television was another notable disappointment. It felt as if I had been transported back in time, as modern entertainment options were conspicuously absent. This absence of contemporary amenities further contributed to my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.
Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the dining arrangements. While there were some options available, the quality of the food was average at best and failed to provide any memorable culinary experiences. The lackluster offerings were particularly disheartening, as I had hoped to sample exceptional cuisine during my stay.
Moreover, I found the bathroom and shower facilities to be remarkably small, resulting in a subpar bathing experience. The confined space and lack of comfort further compounded my growing dissatisfaction with my stay at your establishment.
Considering the aforementioned issues, it is with regret that I state my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Mari Kristin Hotel. I cannot envision a scenario where I would consider returning to your establishment or recommending it to others based on my experience. I sincerely hope that this feedback proves valuable in improving the quality of service and amenities offered at your...

Read moreJust returned today from a very relaxing break at the Marie Kristin Beach Hotel. It was perfect for the three of us — myself, my husband, and our 15-year-old daughter. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly. in fact, every Greek person we made was incredibly friendly. ||We arrived late at night (around midnight) and, even though we’d missed dinner, they kindly prepared a fresh salad plate for us — such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the whole stay.||The hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps from the beach. The pool is small but ideal for chilling out. No need to set an alarm to reserve sunbeds! Everyone just came and went as they pleased.||There are several beaches within walking distance. You do need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas at those, but the prices were very reasonable.||We stayed on a half-board basis. The food at the hotel was fine - buffet style. The hot partner with a restaurant just down the road which was absolutely amazing — definitely worth trying. And you also get a restaurant discount for staying at the hotel ||The only small downside is that the rooms are quite compact. It was manageable for three of us, but a bit tight — I’d recommend no more than two people per room for maximum comfort. For all the things in your room, though. We were out and about every day either at the beach on a sailing trip, visiting Heraklion town or shopping. ||Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a chilled, friendly,...
