We wanted to stay one night at Heraklion, we had left our car opposite Talos Plaza, where there is a free parking place. Around 15 minutes waking distance from the city center. I believe this is almost the best spot.. walking distance to city center.. free parking place and logical price per night.. what else to ask.. we didn't wanted nothing else more. Alcyone will definitely be a place to sleep when we visit Heraklion. At the room they offer you, free bottle of water plus tsikoudia to drink as a welcome. Also you will find a coffee maker.. things if you want to cook even. In one word... Value for money this place, for my personal standards and for what they ask per night. Always consider this... What you pay and which things they return to you.

Wir buchten zu zweit die Suite mit Whirlpool für 3 Nächte. Pro: eigener Einfang, kl. Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen zum frühstücken, Whirlpool, gute Lage (in 30 Min zu Fuß am Strand von Ammoudara (Restaurantempfehlung am Ende d. Strands: Ta Kalitera), in 20 Min am venezianischen Hafen (hier sind zB 5h Segeltouren für 80€ pP zu buchen)). Contra: kaum Tageslicht - Licht nur über Tür und kl. Fenster (gleichzeitig kann Tür nicht abgedunkelt werden), 2 kleine Mini-Fenster, sodass hohe Feuchtigkeit im Raum, wenn man den Whirlpool erwärmt (dauert ca. 4h - ist aber auch "normal" und wird nicht als Contra gesehen), kein anständiges Messer zum Kochen & Brot aufschneiden, für unseren Geschmack war das Bett sehr weich, WLAN Verbindung erreichte das Zimmer leider nur schwach. Insgesamt: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut, allerdings empfehlen wir nur Kurzreisen in dieses Appartment, da es nicht zum "verweilen", wenn man mal nicht Strand und Action will, einlädt. Die Mitarbeitende sind zuvorkommend und freundlich!

This hotel is in good place, the room is well equipped. There is nespresso coffee mashine, hair dryer, fridge(freezer), towels, air conditioner...the receptionust is very helpful and very nice. Our room had a good design and it was very clean:) thank you for the stuff everything!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location is perfect—close to the city center, restaurants, and the main attractions, but still quiet enough to relax. The apartment was very clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Check-in was smooth, and the host was extremely kind and helpful. Wi-Fi worked well, the bed was comfortable, and we especially appreciated the little details that made us feel at home.
