Porta Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Porta Suites for the nights before and after our wedding, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. Our suite, the "Premium Suite Sea View with Outdoor Jetted Tub," was ideal for wedding preparations and photographs, being luxurious, newly constructed, and providing a beautiful backdrop for our special moments. The terrace was the perfect place to hang out with friends the night after the wedding, offering a relaxing and scenic space to celebrate with a sea view.

Porta Suites was impeccably clean, with every corner of our suite spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity to beautiful sandy beaches and the Heraklion airport also added to the convenience of our stay.

The deluxe suites at Porta Suites are perfect for families, groups of friends, and couples alike. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor jetted tub featured in our suite, which added a luxurious touch to our relaxing and memorable experience.

We stayed in a suite with an outdoor hot tub and extremely comfortable sun beds. The hot tub was maintained at 40 degrees and was a dream to be in every night for 5 nights.|The suite was so modern and finished to a very high standard, quite apparent the owner was a perfectionist. The suite was so so clean and the linen on the beds was high quality, as well as the towels and dressing gowns. We felt so safe in the area and only 10 mins walk from down town Heraklion. Cleaning was daily, and to a high standard. We loved the reverse osmosis water in the suite. We were able to drink water and fill or water bottles each day. Wir haben hier eine Nacht vor unserer Kreuzfahrt und eine Nacht danach verbracht. Hatten einmal ein Zimmer im ersten Stock Richtung Innenhof, dieses war sehr leise, man hat kaum Geräusche von außen gehört. Dann hatten wir noch ein Zimmer im 3. Stock Richtung Straße. Hier war es abends schon deutlich lauter, da wie hier bereits geschrieben worden ist, direkt gegenüber eine Motorrad Werkstatt ist und ein Hund der bellt. Allerdings hat es uns trotzdem nicht wirklich gestört, gegen Mitternacht wurde es ruhiger. Aber generell muss man auch sagen, wenn man zentral Urlaub machen möchte (und die Innenstadt ist fussläufig super schnell zu erreichen) dann wird es nirgends zu 100 Prozent ruhig sein, so ist es halt in größeren Städten. ☺️

Aber nun zum eigentlichen:

Die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet! Kühlschrank, Küche und sogar eine Waschmaschine waren für uns gerade mit Kind das Highlight. Netterweise bekommt man am Anreisetag eine Flasche Wasser gestellt sowie ein Tab für die Spülmaschine und einen für die Waschmaschine. War für uns mega, da wir so nach unserer Kreuzfahrt noch einiges an Kleidung waschen konnten. Neue Tabs konnte man an der Rezeption für wenig Geld nachkaufen - perfekt! 😍

Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten waren extrem bequem 😍. Die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert, also selbst im Hochsommer kann man dieses Hotel ohne zögern buchen. Das Personal war auch super freundlich und der Kontakt per WhatsApp hat uns positiv überrascht. Es wurde genau nachgefragt wie wir uns was vorstellen etc.

Die Lage ist auch mega! Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Lidl, hier konnten wir flott einkaufen und Dank Kühlschrank und Eisfach auch Lebensmittel lagern. Ebenso ist ein Café für den Morgenkaffee direkt vorm Lidl und auch die Innenstadt ist wie oben erwähnt super zu erreichen.

Wir werden so schnell wohl nicht wieder nach Heraklion kommen, da wir andere Reiseziele auf dem Plan haben, aber falls doch, werden wir auf jedenfall wieder...
