Extremely bad service. First, in empty restaurant you have to wait for menu (checlist) 10 or 15 minutes. Next, I asked a waiter to bring a dessert with my candles for my wife (her bday, so surprise). I even choose this local cake with honey and asked to put on it my 5 candles. Waiter confirmed a few times in English.
What we got when we finished? Nothing, just “card or cache”. I mean, we got two another desserts as a “complement” with ouzo which noone of my company don’t like at all. What you cannot just bring fruits or nothing at all? Not everyone wants to get extremely sweet piece of cake!
That’s awful snd I can’t understand what is the problem to write down on a paper sheet such simple request. I also can’t understand why I checked everything in “menu” within a pencil (menu with no pictures, are you serious guys?), but in receipt I got water counted twice, as I understood by price. And the rest of receipt (on device, not a paper) in Greek, so I cannot correctly check what else they included extra.
“Thanks” for such service on birthday, and we just decided to go to another place.
Food is pretty good if you like a lot of rice. At place waiters open windows and all what you can smell and hear, if you want to seat closer to the sea, are cars and motorollers. Extremely hot inside, conditioners were not worked at 27 degree outside.
I do not recommend this place. Here are a lot of good...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant that left me utterly disappointed and feeling cheated. I had high hopes for a delicious chicken burger, as advertised on their menu, but what I received was far from what was promised. Instead of chicken burger, I was served three chicken burger patties, as can be seen in the attached photo.
To make matters worse, the ambiance of the restaurant was far from pleasant. The overpowering stench of tobacco filled the air since smoking was allowed indoors. This completely ruined the dining experience for me, as I found it difficult to enjoy my meal in such an environment.
Moreover, the service was abysmal. The waiter barely spoke any English, making it incredibly challenging to communicate my concerns or make any adjustments to my order. It was evident that they were ill-prepared to handle international customers, which is unacceptable in today's globalized world.
Considering the misleading menu, the unpleasant smell of tobacco, and the poor service, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a complete waste of time and money. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes significant improvements to avoid similar disappointments for...
Read moreWhat a taste of heaven at this traditional Cretan restaurant! Located along the coast of heraklion around ten minutes form the ferry port it is absolutely worth the visit. Every single thing we ate was absolutely fantastic. This is a very local spot with family style menu selection where you select items off a single menu. The size portion is quite large so order accordingly. At the end of the meal they provided is some of the most traditional and historic sweets and desserts from the island. One example of this is the vanilla in water (or ouzo) where you taste the vanilla off the spoon like a lolly pop and then sip the water... Amazing. Please stop by...
