Guys, this is too good, I’m completely stuffed🤰🏻and it feels like heaven.

This place was recommended from my Airbnb host and I’m so grateful it happened, I’d never came across it since it’s pretty well tugged in a quiet corner. The menu is not big but the food is just amazing, unforgettable. There are also vegan and vegetarian options. The waiter and waitresses are more than friendly, they explained clearly in English what is in which dish and what I should be expecting. I ordered Sadet’s pie and pork braid following the recommendations from the lovely waiter. And what should I say, all expectations have been met and beyond. After the main dishes I even got dessert on the house :’) prices are absolutely fair as well!

A well hidden gem in the back roads of Heraklion. You may look for Vou Vou but you will find the name spelled Bou Bou on the sign outside! Once inside you have a choice of street, open topped enclosed and enclosed to sit in- we chose open enclosed. It was a very romantic meal and the food was superb. We had been recommended the roast potato with herb which turned out to be hassle back, it was delicious. We also had the cabbage leaf wrap and veal steak. All beautifully cooked and served by very English speaking table staff. It was all pretty amazing really... A must try! And if you do go, feeding the restaurant cats is...

Great little restaurant located in a small beautiful square near the city center. Very professionaly, customer friendly business with great service. The food selection is relatively limited but you can rest assured that they put a lot of effort to serve you superb quality, very tasty food that is beyond the usual dishes you find in an ordinary taverna. The only thing I found negative was that the dishes, all felt slightly too salty for my taste. Make sure to call and make a reservation as it doesn't have lots of tables and it's very popular among the locals. Highly...
