Title: Extremely Disappointed: Unfair Cancellation Policy and Feeling Cheated
Review: I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Grand Beach Hotel specifically concerning their cancellation policy. I booked several rooms for my trip, but due to non-approval of my family and friends' visa, I had no choice but to cancel them. Little did I know that this decision would lead to a sense of being cheated by the hotel.
Despite the fact that the rooms I had to cancel were subsequently booked by other guests, Grand Beach refused to refund my money. This is utterly unfair and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It feels like a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and a clear example of prioritizing profit over fairness.
As a customer, I understand that policies exist to protect businesses from potential losses caused by cancellations. However, in this case, it is evident that the hotel did not suffer any financial loss since the rooms were successfully occupied by other guests. Therefore, refusing to refund my payment is not only unjust but also demonstrates a lack of empathy and understanding.
I had high hopes for Grand Beach but this experience has shattered my trust in their integrity. I expected better customer service and a fair resolution to this unfortunate situation. Sadly, my expectations were met with disappointment, and I feel deeply let down.
I strongly advise potential guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy of Grand Beach Hotel before making any reservations. Be aware that their approach to refunds may leave you feeling cheated, especially if unforeseen circumstances force you to cancel your booking. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of customer-centricity and a refusal to rectify an obvious injustice.
In conclusion, my experience with the Grand Beach Hotel has left me extremely dissatisfied and feeling cheated. The refusal to refund my money despite the cancellation of my rooms being booked by other guests is unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the management of Grand Beach Hotel reevaluates their cancellation policy and prioritizes fairness and customer satisfaction...

Read moreThis was a very nice hotel, we paid for one of the Panorama Suite with semi private pool. The room was well appointed, clean, modern with a generous walk in shower, toilet and basin en suite. The room had a digital safe, mini fridge, tea making facilities and coffee pod machine. There was a reasonable amount of storage for clothes with an iron and ironing board too. A very big smart TV allowed us to access our Netflix and Disney + accounts and there was good WiFi coverage. Plenty of sockets to plug in tech and the room was well lit. The semi private pool area was loverly but we were only able to use it a few times as the wind was so strong, not the hotels fault but it was a pointless and expensive extravagance. The view was nice and if you could stand the howling wind there were plenty of sun beds. There are a few draw backs, the room did not have black out blinds and light radiated into the room which wasn’t great. These rooms are at the top of the hotel and whilst you don’t need to be an athlete you will get a good workout getting from the road to your room! House keeping was very good as was the food in the restaurant, we ate here a few times in the evening and it was pretty good. The breakfast was a bit basic but as a Brit you could cobble something together, just forget a desire for a full English. Location is okay, it’s about a 20minute walk into Mykonos old town although be aware you will be walking on the road as there are very few footpaths which is a bit dicey. There is a beach just over the road with some sun beds which is handy but the whole beach area could do with a clean, lots of litter. The hotel staff were super friendly and we had a loverly welcome and farewell, there was no option to have a late checkout but a shower and toilet facilities were made available which was pretty useful. All in all a great place to stay and we would...
