Overall, had a good stay here. My friends and I got 3 Junior Suites, luckily all located near each other on the ground floor. The suite was very spacious—with a queen bed, couch/TV area, outdoor patio, fridge and safe! The bathroom was fairly spacious as well. However, the overall feel and decor of the room/bathroom felt very old, not modern at all. Location wise, it’s not far from town (where the restaurants, shopping, bars are)—it’s about a 10 mins walk but the path leading there is unsafe, especially at night, because there’s no legit sidewalk and you are basically walking along the actual car road. Suggest you get a taxi vs walk. Also, once arriving to the hotel, there’s an insane incline to get to the front entrance—not ideal to get a car situated there for pickup/drop off or loading/unloading luggages. Concierge was friendly. But prior to arriving, I tried contacting the hotel a few times via Expedia messages and by emailing them directly but never got a response—this should be IMPROVED by management. Breakfast was included—decent breakfast food and drinks! There is a small bar by the pool area for drinks—the bartender at night was awesome—recommend his strawberry daiquiris, so delicious!

We had a phantastic stay for 1 week. The hotel is very nice, the rooms in a good shape, the architecture very intersting and beautiful. All the staff is very, very professional and very, very kind. Whenever we had a question or asked for a special service (car, recommandation for a restaurant, best method to go to wonderful Delos island (don´t miss it !!!)) we received a perfect advice. The pool (salted water) was phantastic, the location is great: Calm and close to the sea in the south of city-center whereas all the big ships go to new haven in the north. Daily view over the town with its specific windmills. And you can reach city-center by feet in less than 15 minutes. They offer a phantastic breakfast - a specific mixture between international and traditional greek = perfect !! And all over the day you can ask for coffee, drinks, snacks at the pool-bar. In the evening if you don´t want to go to city-center they also offer a tasty dinner - of course only a couple of meals, but very tasty!! Finally: Ask for their drinks at the pool-bar, you won´t be disappointed. We say "Thanks so much" to all staff and the management of Grand beach Mykonos !!

The Grand Beach Hotel is the 'Grand Beach' Hotel, due it is located to Grand Beach. It's a normal hotel. Big room and nice view. Mostly renovated. Bath is old and worn out(see pics). It takes time to get warm water. The shower head does not work well. The bed crashed, when I dropped on it. 4 nights stay, but always noise at nighttime when people come home. The bed lacks of a damper flies. So the bed does a screaming noise when you move it. And people did. Many called the reception at 3 a.m. for that. Doors are slapping, because of the wind. Room service does not finish it's work. Day 1: waste was taken out of the bin and layed beside the bin whe we returned. Day 2: my sleeping dress had been thrown over the telefone. Day 3: beds where pushed apart. Breakfast is okay. No covid rules at the entrance . So few people weared a mask. The Waitress is very kind. The pool is big and good. Serving at the pool is available. The chairs are comfortable but partly dirty and damaged. Don't book this hotel in fall, it gets windy and you cannot use the pool or, sit outside. Even behind glass walls.

Title: Extremely Disappointed: Unfair Cancellation Policy and Feeling Cheated

Review: I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Grand Beach Hotel specifically concerning their cancellation policy. I booked several rooms for my trip, but due to non-approval of my family and friends' visa, I had no choice but to cancel them. Little did I know that this decision would lead to a sense of being cheated by the hotel.

Despite the fact that the rooms I had to cancel were subsequently booked by other guests, Grand Beach refused to refund my money. This is utterly unfair and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It feels like a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and a clear example of prioritizing profit over fairness.

As a customer, I understand that policies exist to protect businesses from potential losses caused by cancellations. However, in this case, it is evident that the hotel did not suffer any financial loss since the rooms were successfully occupied by other guests. Therefore, refusing to refund my payment is not only unjust but also demonstrates a lack of empathy and understanding.

I had high hopes for Grand Beach but this experience has shattered my trust in their integrity. I expected better customer service and a fair resolution to this unfortunate situation. Sadly, my expectations were met with disappointment, and I feel deeply let down.

I strongly advise potential guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy of Grand Beach Hotel before making any reservations. Be aware that their approach to refunds may leave you feeling cheated, especially if unforeseen circumstances force you to cancel your booking. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of customer-centricity and a refusal to rectify an obvious injustice.

In conclusion, my experience with the Grand Beach Hotel has left me extremely dissatisfied and feeling cheated. The refusal to refund my money despite the cancellation of my rooms being booked by other guests is unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the management of Grand Beach Hotel reevaluates their cancellation policy and prioritizes fairness and customer satisfaction...

The Best Place in Mykonos – My Home Away From Home!

I have been coming to the Grand Beach Hotel in Mykonos every single year, and I can confidently say that it is the best place in the world. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with warmth and kindness by Desti and her incredible family, who truly go above and beyond to make you feel like part of their own. Their hospitality is unmatched—they treat me like family, and that’s why I will continue to return year after year.

The hotel is in a perfect location just a 7-minute walk to town, making it easy to explore Mykonos while enjoying a peaceful stay. There is even a local market just 2 minutes away, where you can grab water or anything else you may need. Each room comes with a refrigerator, and nearly every single room offers a stunning view—except for just one!

One of my favorite things about Grand Beach Hotel is their delicious breakfast, served daily until 11 AM. Starting the day with their spread is a true treat! The staff is incredible, always attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest has the best experience possible. Security is also present, giving an added sense of comfort during your stay.

The saltwater pool is simply beautiful, with an amazing bar and food service that runs all day long until 11 PM. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or enjoying a cocktail at the bar, you are guaranteed top-tier service in a relaxing, picturesque setting.

While this may not be classified as a five-star hotel, to me, it absolutely is! They go above and beyond in every way, ensuring that everything is spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. The cleaning staff keeps the rooms pristine, and every little detail makes this place feel special. Oh - and the beds are SOOO comfortable!

I cannot recommend Grand Beach Hotel enough—it is truly my home away from home, and I will be returning every year for the rest of my life. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and perfectly located hotel in Mykonos, this is the place...

This was a very nice hotel, we paid for one of the Panorama Suite with semi private pool. The room was well appointed, clean, modern with a generous walk in shower, toilet and basin en suite. The room had a digital safe, mini fridge, tea making facilities and coffee pod machine. There was a reasonable amount of storage for clothes with an iron and ironing board too. A very big smart TV allowed us to access our Netflix and Disney + accounts and there was good WiFi coverage. Plenty of sockets to plug in tech and the room was well lit. The semi private pool area was loverly but we were only able to use it a few times as the wind was so strong, not the hotels fault but it was a pointless and expensive extravagance. The view was nice and if you could stand the howling wind there were plenty of sun beds. There are a few draw backs, the room did not have black out blinds and light radiated into the room which wasn’t great. These rooms are at the top of the hotel and whilst you don’t need to be an athlete you will get a good workout getting from the road to your room! House keeping was very good as was the food in the restaurant, we ate here a few times in the evening and it was pretty good. The breakfast was a bit basic but as a Brit you could cobble something together, just forget a desire for a full English. Location is okay, it’s about a 20minute walk into Mykonos old town although be aware you will be walking on the road as there are very few footpaths which is a bit dicey. There is a beach just over the road with some sun beds which is handy but the whole beach area could do with a clean, lots of litter. The hotel staff were super friendly and we had a loverly welcome and farewell, there was no option to have a late checkout but a shower and toilet facilities were made available which was pretty useful. All in all a great place to stay and we would...
