Mykonos Bay Resort & Villas Truly a world class experience without doubt

We were visiting Mykonos for the first time so wanted to book a place which offered all possible amenities along with beach access. When we stumbled on Mykonos Bay Resort & Villas, we were truly delighted and were looking forward to jump the trip and land there before anything else :)

In summary the place is outstanding and beats all pictures that we see online.

POSITIVES :

(+) The resort offered complimentary pick and drop offs to the airport or seaport which was a relief given we being first time tourists. Mr. Nicos the partner / owner of the resort was kind enough to drop us off to the port

(+) The service level is absolutely outclass. From the driver who picked us from the port to the front desk ladies to room serve and restaurants/bars. Everyone was very warm and caring to our requests while we were served complimentary drinks at check-in. The front desk ladies went out of the way to explain each and everything to us for our old town visits and also ensured to give us drop off to the center.

(+) The architecture and design of the place is spectacular with attention to detail to minor things all across. As people who enjoy such modern & classy design, we couldn't have asked for more

(+) We booked a two bedroom suite with a jacuzzi and sea view. The best decision we made as everything was prim and top of the line. All bathroom amenities are from Grohe with special features to make your stay worthwhile

(+) The breakfast in the morning was served even before the opening time as we had to check out early. An exceptional array of options in the ala carte menu awaits you which even the children enjoyed thoroughly

(+) The cleanliness of the place is being maintained especially by the management. You get two room services in a day due to beach access.

(+) In-room services include an unlimited coffee machine with capsules, massage service (both in-room & outside near the pool), complimentary water bottles etc. and additional requests for kettle are also entertained

(+) Sunset views are breathtaking and I found them to be even better than Santorini

NEGATIVES Difficult to point out but a few areas for improvement include

(-) The Jacuzzi in the room is a bit high without having any stairs or support. My wife had a really bad fall while coming out of it resulting in many bruises on her body. Kids had to be physically pulled in and out of the jacuzzi tub. So some support or stairs will be helpful to avoid HSSE risks to guests

(-) Slightly heavy on pocket as I stayed before the rush season but given the world class set of activities, one should be fine with the higher cost

Overall, an outstanding place with an exceptional experience for us.

The hotel has two buildings, the main one is located besides the beach and the Annex is uphill, 4 minutes walking from the main building. I stayed in the annex. Both facilities have pool. The annex pool dis not had calefaction so the water was very cold. The personnel was very kind and helpful. The personnel provides recommendations of places to visit and routes. In addition, the hotel has complementary transportation service to Mykonos town (15 minutes walking) and other places of the island, contact the hotel to check availability. The food was delicious and the room was very well decorated.

They also have complementary (free) transportation service from and to the airport and/or port. I recommend contacting the hotel to arrange the transportation.

El hotel tiene dos edificios, el principal a la orilla de la costa y el anexo ubicado a 4 minutos caminando, el anexo se ubica más arriba en la colina. Me quedé en el anexo. Ambos complejos tienen alberca. La alberca del anexo no tenía calefacción por lo que el agua estaba bastante fría, como fui en otoño, ya comenzaba a hacer frío por la tarde. El personal del lugar fue demasiado amable. El personal te puede dar recomendaciones de donde ir, y rutas; adicionalmente, tienen servicio gratuito de transporte para llegar al pueblo principal, caminando son aproximadamente 15 minutos. Igualmente tienen servicio de transporte (ida y regreso) para otros lados de la isla incluyendo los clubs y restaurants, se necesita confirmar disponibilidad del transporte con el hotel . La comida del hotel estuvo bastante buena. El cuarto estaba bien decorado.

También tienen servicio gratuito de transporte desde y hacia el aeropuerto o al puerto; recomiendo escribir directamente al hotel (o a través de las aplicaciones o páginas donde reserves) con anticipación para coordinar...

If you are thinking about visiting Mykonos or planning your vacation / holiday in Mykonos, then you must stay here! There is not enough time or room to express all the excellent aspects of this property. This resort, its rooms, are beautiful and the staff who care for you here will treat you like family. I have not been to a place where staff cares for you in such a manner as this. ||The resort has a beautiful pool area as well as its own beach club area on Megali Ammos beach, with crystal clear ocean. You can order all you need while at the pool or beach, from food to drinks. ||Stayed here for 5 nights and did not need a rental car. It’s in the perfect location away from the hustle / bustle of Mykonos town. A peaceful place right on the beach. Walked into Mykonos town each day, which is very close / 10 min walk. You can catch buses or taxis in Fabrika which is about 5 min walk if you want to go places further away. The front desk can also arrange for an external car service for hire to visit sites as well. ||The resort has complimentary transport upon arrival and departure, which was great. ||They feature their Karavas restaurant taverna which has excellent food offerings. Had breakfast there each day, some lunches and a couple dinners. The sunset view at dinner is amazing. ||The staff is what makes Mykonos Bay resort so special. From greeting with welcome drinks to departure, it’s home away from home. The staff does whatever it takes to make your stay perfect.
