I have never felt so compelled to write a review as I have when returning home from Klidon, not only because the suites are beautiful, but because of the host, Manos! ||||What a wonderful, kind and attentive host and I challenge you to find better! From the moment we arrived, greeted at the entrance and led down the steps to a veranda that over looked the ocean we felt well and truly welcomed. Manos presented us with a map and talked us through points of interest on the island as well as a few personal recommendations for eateries and ‘must see’s’. ||||We had a king suite with jacuzzi, over looking the ocean in total privacy. The room was stunning with everything you could want- robes, slippers, bath and beach towels, mini bar etc! Nothing was left out and if there was something you thought should be present, Manos would go above and beyond to ensure you had it. ||||Breakfast was served in- room. Simply send a text the day prior with your order and at your chosen time, Manos would bring you your requested meal. Fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, toast, fresh juices- absolutely delicious every time! Again, as always Manos would enquire that you were happy and if there was anything else he could do for you. ||||The location was spot on! Walking distance (5 minutes, if that) into the town where all of the main shops, restaurants and bars are. A convenience store and bakery are a stones throw away from the suites.||||Manos will recommend a transport service- I advise you to use them for journeys that cannot be done on foot. Most journeys are no more 10-15 minutes but can be costly. I found Antonis ( and his brother) to be extremely reasonable by comparison and always prompt and polite. ||||I really cannot sing the praises of Manos and Klidon Dreamy Living Suites enough! What an absolute gem and we look forward to...
Read moreWe stayed 6 nights at Klidon and it was absolutely fantastic! I’m from London and travel a lot, so I tend to have high standards and expectations from the places I choose to stay. ||Manos (the owner and host) picked us up from the airport and brought us back to the hotel. Once there we were given an extensive overview of Mykonos and all the great things to do here. Manos was extremely personable and provided several recommendations for restaurants, bars and sightseeing both inside the town and around the rest of the island. His local knowledge was invaluable and really gave us a sense of comfort and ease when planning our itinerary. We never had a bad meal! ||Our room was extremely clean and modern with pretty sophisticated lighting and Netflix to boot. The hot tub and ocean view was exceptional! I Highly recommend grabbing some Prosecco or sparkling rose from the convenience store next door and enjoying a couple of glasses in the hot tub at sunset. ||Every morning Manos provided a simple but tasty breakfast comprising of eggs, fresh bread, yoghurt, seasonal fruits and FRESHLY SQUEEZED orange juice. We were also able to make requests and customise it each day, based on what we felt like. ||In terms of location, it is a 5min walk down the main hill into town and is extremely accessible and easy. We saved a fair bit of money on cabs because we were able to walk pretty much everywhere or jump on a (cheap) public bus to all the main beaches from Fabrika square just down the road. ||This property is also LGBT+ friendly. The property provided a quaint escape just outside the town, perfect for a bit of relaxation and luxury. Highly recommend a...
Read moreI booked Klidon before the pandemic. Because of the pandemic I could not travel to Mykonos in March 2020, but the host graciously allowed me to use the non-refundable booking as a credit toward future stay. So I came in Oct. 2022 and stayed for two days. The suite is super clean, modern, and comfortable. Each suite has its own balcony and hot tub. The view is stunning. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to try the hot tub. The host, Manos, was very helpful. He gave us recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. We went to Kazamar, which he recommended, and we had the best meal in Mykonos. The only advice I have for future guests is that the road to the town center -- about 7-10 minutes -- is narrow and could be dangerous. So please take extra caution if you want to walk. You should also ask Manos to arrange transportation. It cost us 35 Euros to go to the ferry port, but it's worth...
