We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights after Travel Republic overbooked us at another hotel. Turns out we're grateful we got moved because the hotel was brilliant. ||||Its set up on the hill so it's a bit of a walk down but the views are incredible. I wouldnt advise walking back up at night because the little lanes are dark and using the road is a bit scary as the traffic is fast moving. Taxis are frequent at night and only cost between 5-7 Euros. ||||We stayed in Room 5 which was lovely and spacious, had a gorgeous little garden terrace and was perfect for us. The room had lots of storage and the air conditioning was really effective. The bathroom is lovely, lots of space. The shower is slightly small but manageable. The room was cleaned every day, she even folded our clothes for us. ||||The pool was a good size and was really clean. We had it to ourselves most days! The girls that worked behind the little bar during the day/evening were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, often giving us shots of ouzo or nibbles with our drinks. The food from the bar is really good, not a huge selection but great for a snack by the pool. ||||We had breakfast included which was a bonus from moving hotels. Not a massive selection (eggs, bacon, cheese, yoghurt, crossiants etc) but it was enough to set you up for the day. There is a supermarket about 10/15 minutes up the road which was handy too.||||All of the staff we met were super friendly helpful, always asking us how we were and what our plans were. There were lots of different people staying at the hotel, lots of different nationalities etc and it was brilliant. It felt so relaxing and a great base for whatever your plans are.||||We would definately recommend this hotel for a lovely little relaxing base for your...
Read moreFirst stay at this hotel, which close to all amenities offers a restricted parking area quickly encumbered with quads cars and scooters. Room 104 facing the pool, quiet atmosphere and discreet staff, do not expect the morning hello. Quick daily housekeeping do not look under the beds ... Room service very expensive even in coca day 2.50 € ouzo 5 €! Buy your bottle at the supermarket and consume in your room! Small private terrace nice but no outside light, we had to turn on all the lights in the room to light up. Breakfast minimalist, little choice and impossible to take outside, only one coffee table under the stairs leading to the roof terrace. The room is basic (104) facing the pool TV equipment ok but no international channels !!! As for the bathroom, it would be good to consider the replacement of the sliding shower door, flooding to each shower. My ratings for this hotel 5 of 5 stars Value 5 of 5 stars Rooms 5 of 5 stars Location 5 of 5 stars Cleanliness 5 of 5 stars Service A hotel close by offers better services. Having stayed a dozen times in Mykonos (Mykonos Bay), I will not be staying here again. I will add no shower on the pool side, strange and unable to shower before departure to the airport around 18.00, having cleared the room at 12.00 it is not possible to use the shower of a free room ... The heat was on the side but am a little disappointed with the accommodation although ideally located, I was staying 11 days in this hotel...
Read moreWe had booked a room for one night 3 weeks before to make sure we could stay at a hotel close the town of Mykonos as we only had less than 24h there before our flight back home. We got a call the night before at 10:40pm to tell us we were going to be transferred to their sister hotel Casa Grande for some reason. Casa Grande is located in the south of the island, opposite from Petinaros (impossible to walk to town). But we thought we would get a nice room and would be able to go to the beach nearby so we didn't make a fuss. Turns out they gave us a small room with a single little window and a broken blind (can't open it) when we booked a room with a nice patio. But the worst was the soundproofing which is inexistant, and there are no shutters. On top of that, we were located right in front of the breakfast area, very close to a passing road and it was impossible to sleep without earplugs. We were awake at 7am. We had asked if we could get a somewhat nicer room when we arrived but of course "the hotel is full". The beach nearby is a very touristy place with expensive restaurants and bad service. The cherry on the cake was the breakfast, a buffet of fake orange juice and dry croissants. The 2 stars are only for the driver who picked us up from the port and drove us to the airport the day after: a very nice person who is always right on time...
