Damianos Mykonos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

The hotel was located up the hill 10-15 min walk down a direct but steep path right opposite the hotel to the town center. We appreciated coming back to the quiet part of town away from the crowds. Thats actually the best part. Coming back was more of a challenge since its uphill but we found a longer but less steep path from the town. A taxi would help esp for those who have mobility issues.||Other than that, there was nothing to fault with this hotel. We love the personal service given by this wonderful family and team led by Thanos. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.||We were welcomed by Thanos and Katerina but everyone else were as excellent.||The room we had had a sofa and an outdoor shared sitting area and lounge beds but we had it pretty much to oursleves. We enjoyed the sunset from there 2 nights in a row, it was really nice.||Rooms had everything down to toiletries and also coffee in the room. They provided toothbrush set, slippers in case you forgot yours.||Breakfast was excellent, had a good spread and lot of choices too and coffee was good. ||They have a pool area which is nice but we didnt get to swim or hang out there as we had our own area one floor up. What an absolute treat to be back at Damianos after a few years away. Nothing really needed changing - yet they’ve refreshed the rooms, breakfast area, dining area, added a pool bar etc., anyway.||I’ve never been anywhere that they make you feel as welcome, every day. Not just because there’s always a smile and a ‘how’s your day’ but because the pride they take in everything is so obvious. Everywhere is immaculately clean. Tasteful decor. The music at just the right volume. It’s all been thought about, all been considered to make it a lovely and memorable stay. ||Location wise it’s an easy walk down to town - also handy for the bus station and they’re full of tips on how to best spend your day, if you ask for them. ||The food is the best we had in Mykonos the whole week, fresh fresh fresh and gorgeous. The breakfast has really stepped up a notch… technically a continental but you don’t know where to start with all the lovely bits. Actually, I’d say start with the spinach pie 😍 and don’t miss the orange cake 🤩||All of this, wine served pronto to you at the pool, room, wherever and the price tag for it all is modest. Me, my husband, my son and his friend stayed for a week to celebrate our retirement and my 65th birthday. |My son has stayed many times before and I now know why.|Thanos, Panos, katerina and all the staff at the Hotel Damianos are an amazing team. |We were made so welcome and can't wait to go back.|Our room was just perfect with area outside for sunbathing, chilling in the shade or in the sun, Panos even brings your drinks order to you, the views are fabulous, great for photos of the sunset from the pool area|Loved the buffet breakfast continental with some full breakfast items too, something for everyones taste. We ate dinner a few times too. great prices for really enjoyable meals.|Had some lovely and funny conversations with Panos at the pool bar.|Walked down to the town numerous times, it's a strenuous walk but we got a taxi back (we are retired after all) lol|The housekeeping kept the rooms extremely clean and tidy.|We booked direct with the hotel, and was picked up from the airport for a small fee, and dropped back for free |Thanos, I'd like to thank you and the team for your hospitality, it's second to non |We will be back|I can't think of anything I would change at this lovely...
