Karavaki Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

My husband and I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Karavaki! The service was the best! Everyone was helpful and friendly from the minute we walked in. I ordered a drink that I always get at home in the US and the server brought me back a sample because she didn't think I would like it with my dinner. That was very nice of her, because she was right, it didn't taste like what I normally get at home. I ordered another drink instead. We ordered the shrimp ceviche app to share and we really each should've gotten one because it was the BEST ceviche I've had in my life! Absolutely delicious! The bread and dips were great too. I ordered the sea bass and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered pasta that was also great. The views are to die for and we watched a beautiful sunset! After the sun went down, another server noticed I was rubbing my shoulders and brought me a blanket. The server also offered to take our picture at sunset. The hostess even called a cab for us to get back to our hotel after dinner and gave us a jar of rosemary as a gift. The whole dinner was amazing. It was their 2nd night open for the season and the staff seemed really excited to meet new customers over the next few months. They spoke highly of the restaurant and mentioned how they love their jobs and working in such a beautiful place. I also left a review in a Mykonos group on Facebook and lots of people added to their list to visit on their upcoming trips! Thank you for a great experience in Mykonos! It all started a few months ago when I was looking at TripAdviser for nice places where I would ask my girlfriend for a wife. When I came across the pictures from the Karavaki restaurant, they took my breath away. From the pictures the place is magical, and in reality it is perfect! I wrote to them about what ideas I have and Mrs. Elena Kostouraki, with whom I kept in touch, assured me that everything will turn out very well. They offered me the most beautiful view at a private table, they took care of the bouquet of flowers and at the same time they helped me with the filming of the moment. Everything was set up exactly the right way and they helped me get the perfect marriage proposal! My girlfriend, more recently my fiancée, was speechless and impressed by all the surprises! If anyone wants to apply for marriage this is the place! I recommend with a lot of confidence and warmth. The food was also very good, both the main course and the dessert. Being the birthday of my fiancée, the dessert came with candles and music from Happy Birthday in the background (which impressed me because I didn't know). For us it will remain our place of soul to which we will surely return to remember these magical moments!

Efi was amazing—her food recommendations were spot on, and she made sure our wine was always chilled, adding a perfect touch to our meal. Irene truly knew how to enhance our experience, as she seated us at the perfect table with an unforgettable view. To top it off, she surprised us with a thoughtful gift to celebrate our honeymoon, which made the evening even more special!
