Hotel Maroulis — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

This place totally deserves my 5-star shoutout! You definitely get bang for your buck here. Sure, there’s no fancy blanket—just a thin cloth—and the room has a bit of a woody vibe, but come on, it’s a 1-star hotel, what do you expect? The manager’s super nice and jumped in to help us. The room’s clean, neat, and the balcony’s awesome—perfect for chilling with a book at sunset. The shared kitchen’s a total win, with squeaky-clean utensils and cookware (big props to the cleaning crew!). Plus, the area’s decked out with flower pots, making it feel all cozy and homey. Tried to contact yesterday and today for ferry pickup with no reply at all. Lugged heavy backpack. Note at reception re room number, then no flipn WiFi as promised. Been trying to call mgr all day with no answer. NOT impressed. Not what it offers. Would NOT recommend here. Unless u want no service, no reply, no WiFi and no extra linen or blanket as noone ever bothers to reply. This is my first ever bad review given, usually they're fantastic, and I haven't even stayed yet, not long arrived and already want to cancel... Very extremely dated which is OK if the other things...
