Ormos Holiday Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

This was a great find and everything about the stay was great. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and cleaned every day, the host was very friendly and helpful with everything - including tips on where to go around the island. The shutters on the door meant that we could make it dark in the room well into the morning, which was great for holiday sleep ins. In terms of location, it is a few blocks back from the beach - less than 5 mins slow wander and the beach is great for dips on the hot days and in the other direction, it is was about 5 mins to the town square on top of the hill and 10 (maybe 15 if you are slow walker) to the harbour down on the other side, which seemed to be the main restaurant strip. Having said that, there are no shortages of great restaurants anywhere we went in the town and the ones just 1/2 a block from the studios were excellent. The view from the (our) balcony was across the neighbourhood - nice looking over typical Greek white 2-3 story buildings with blue doors/windows. Given the price and the location, we did not miss sea views at all and went down to the beach twice every day anyways. We loved our stay here! Our room was super clean, modern and stylish. It’s really well located for St,George’s beach, shops, restaurants, bakery, port, bars etc Vasilis (apologies if I’ve miss spelt your name) was a perfect host, greeting us kindly and offering help on how to get around the island as well as restaurant recommendations etc He added us to WhatsApp so that we could contact him at any time, should we need to. |We had all we needed for a self catering room (though I would suggest a bread knife or sharp knife & chopping board to enable us to cut bread etc as we only had dinner cutlery) also wine glasses would have been welcome too. |There was a bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived which was very thoughtful. |I was pleased to have a good quality hairdryer & the complimentary shower products were really nice quality and smelt amazing.|I must mention the cleaner too. The room was immaculate & was cleaned daily. Our towels were changed every other day, bed changed every 3 and we were given a fresh tea towel each day. Dish cloth, sponge and washing up liquid were also provided. It was always nice to come back to after a day of exploring.|Thank you for a great stay. The apartments are very spacious and clean (they're doing cleaning every day!). There's a small kitchenette where you can make you breakfast (fridge, pots, electric stove etc,) and then you can have your coffee on the lovely balcony. There's air conditioning too, although we never used it during our stay - it never got that hot in the room really and we preferred to have the balcony doors open at night to get fresh air. Very close to restaurants and port. The owner was extremely helpful, from picking us up from the port to giving us advice on what to see on and around the island.
