Ippokampos Beach Bar & Sun Beds — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

40€ for two beds is pretty ridiculous, but happy to pay it cause I was on holidays I guess. Our first drink order was 2 bellinis, which was passed onto the waiter inside. Who then came out and said they had plenty of other nicer (more expensive) cocktails. I asked if it was because they didnt have ingredients for bellinis and was ignored. I eventually ordered a margarita because I couldnt be bothered arguing over what drink i wanted. After about 3 margaritas, i then ordered a margarita AND an ouzo, and was scoffed at for changing from margaritas to ouzo. The girl was pretty condescending and rude the whole time, second guessing our orders. At the end she asked if we wanted a tip and seemed confused and upset I said no. I never got...

We had a lovely time on the beds, great water - great spot. The staff were friendly but incredibly slow (in an almost amusing way… as we were very relaxed - but they certainly need some training). Drink were ok. The food however, was very disappointing. Actually, we could barely eat it. The chicken pasta smelt of fish. I couldn’t swallow it. Even our 3 year old who eats anything - especially pasta, couldn’t eat it. When we very kindly mentioned this - the owner just shrugged his shoulders and charged us anyway. I think the owner needs some hospitality...

Extremely, extremely unfriendly service!😔 Ordered a smoked salmon salad which has orange and almonds (from the menu).Nicely asked them to leave the almonds away because of an allergy, instead they could put cashew nuts. The waitress answered with a annoyed face. They define the salad as salmon, lettuce and orange. Did not get the orange and asked for extra feta and cucumber(4,50€ extra). Second time they brought couple of pieces of orange.
