Me and my husband stayed here the summer of 2021 for 5 nights. We decided on this hotel because we loved the area and the hotel looked nice on the pictures, what an disappointment. ||||Booking and communication: The hotel wanted us to pay in full before arrival, which was okay, but they had so much trouble with making the payment and then blaming it on us - telling us that we had to talk to our bank. We contacted the bank and there was nothing wrong on their side. I finally had to call the hotel and stay on the line until they could process my card through, then they slammed on the phone (no apology or anything) when it was settled. Communication with the hotel was very hard as they ignored our emails time and again. ||||The room: The was nice and clean, the comforter was also very itchy so we could not sleep with this (just the sheet). The safe did not work, we where missing handsoap and beach towels on arrival to the hotel. ||||Breakfast: the selection was okay. Because of covid-19 the hotel had made a station with disinfectant and gloves where it said that you had to sanitize your hands and use gloves when you serve yourself from the breakfast buffet (which was great!). But there where no employees that enforced these rules or checked that people where actually doing this, this resulted in both grown ups and children grabbing food with their unwashed hands (gross even before covid!).||||The beach: We went to the hotel/restaurant beach on our first day in Sifnos, we had to pay for sunbeds (20 euros for two), which was okay, but when we wanted to go get some lunch they told us that we could not leave our sunbeds to go and get lunch, then they would rent them to someone else, even though we had rented the beds for the entire day. Me and my husband has been travelling in Greece many times and has never experienced this. Needless to say, we did not go back here...
Read moreWe recently spent an incredible week at this beautiful hotel and couldn't be happier with our stay. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had the best night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, contributing to our overall fantastic experience. Our room allowed us to close the shutters completely, so we enjoyed sleeping in late each morning. Then, we headed downstairs to indulge in one of the most wonderful breakfasts we've ever had.||||The hotel's restaurant, Misso Misso, became our go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every morning, we started with Greek yogurt topped with muesli, fruit, nuts, and honey, followed by a hot English breakfast that varied daily, offering everything from fried eggs and omelettes to delicious, flaky cheese and spinach Greek pastries. Fresh bread, fruit juice, coffee, and hot tea were also available.||||The views from our room and the restaurant were breathtaking, as the hotel is situated right on the beach. I highly recommend pre-booking and hiring a car from Kamares Port, as it’s essential for getting to the hotel and exploring the idyllic island.||||We were there for a reunion with three other couples and had a fantastic time on the upstairs deck, chatting, having a few drinks, and dancing the night away. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great suggestions for places to visit on the island.||||If you're looking for a perfect place to relax on a sunbed with a cocktail, beer, or wine, and then walk just a few steps into the sea, this is the place for you. We've already planned another visit before the end of summer. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Franco and Ava will make you feel...
