Margarita — Hotel in Municipality of Sifnos

One of the best apartments we have ever had the pleasure to book. Lovely details and fully furnished, like, really! Curtains, windows with mosquito nets, beautiful and functional bathroom (in spite of the small size) with very good toiletries , a wonderful new kitchen fully equipped. We usually book studios/apartment because we prepare our own meals, but most of the times the kitchenette is small and actually difficult to use. This one was in the corner of the studio, but so smartly designed that it made it really easy for us to prepare our meals and enjoy them on the front balcony. We were staying for 12 days and had complimentary tea/coffee and essentials for the breakfast and a good bottle of wine. Cleaning was spotless (done by one of the hostess if I’m not mistaken) and thorough. They even provided beach towels and would change them regularly. Also beach chairs are available to take with you to the seaside. Very welcoming and nice, the mother also gave us some homemade pie for breakfast and most importantly they let us check in earlier since the apartment was already free and ready and it allowed us to relax after the travel and not waste the afternoon.

Very close to the beautiful and organised beach (just across the street) , but with the privilege of privacy and dedicated parking.

Honestly better than most 3/4...

Margarita and her daughter Sofia are the best example of the amazing, warm and kind Greek hospitality. I got a warm welcome when I arrived and they looked after me throughout. |I stayed two nights at Helios House on the beach which was just special, due to its position and location literally on the beach. I then moved in the studios across the street for 5 nights which I absolutely loved. Such a tastefully decorated rooms, SUPER clean, and it had everything I needed. Large rooms and newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. Just a peaceful space to relax but yet 1 minute from the best restaurants and cafes and the gorgeous beach of Plati Gialos. ||I was very sad I could not stay longer as I felt at home. |I will definitely come back, thank you Sofia and Margarita for having me in your beautiful homes and for making me...
