Evangelia's Family House — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

The location is pretty close to the beach and the owner is very friendly. It has a very pretty yard and covered parking spots, so your car will be protected from the sun and rain. There is a small playground for the children which is a good thing if you have kids. It also has a very beautiful yard with generous lawn, a place to eat, outside showers and a place to clean your feet of sand when you come back from the beach. The room was kept clean, the towels changed periodically (we had one clean towel per person per day).

The room was generous, with everything you needed in the kitchen (we didn't cook but still everything was there).

The WiFi was also good, at least to navigate on the phone or watch something on YouTube, it was good enough, without lag or anything.

The fridge was pretty loud, a funny thing but it was. When we were trying to sleep it was bothering us! Also our neighbors were loud! Some of them were very loud. We couldn't sleep. It is true, we were going to sleep around 22:00 and we couldn't. We were kept awake until 23:30 - 00:00. It bothered us especially because we were searching for something quiet to get some good rest.

When you take a shower the bathroom floor gets very wet as there is no door or any kind of protection. When you get out of the shower it is slippery,...

We've never met such friendly, helpful and unique people as Evangelia, Dimitrios and Vasiliki. The best type of hospitality ever. They gave so many useful advises and directions. Clean, wide and nice territory of the house with facilities for children and spacious parking place. Rooms are big enough with remarkable for Greece kitchen equipment. Really children-friendly place with the view on the fields, mountains and hills. Our son slept on the balcony during his day-nap. Very good wi-fi - I was able to work from here via VPN on american servers. ||||The sea and the beach is in 5-7 min walking distance, and the main road is far away, so it's very calm and peaceful here. The Trani Ammouda beach is one of the best on Sithonia. The very small town of Ormos Panagias is in 10--15 distance with a fish-market(!), stores, shops, good restaurants right on the sea-shore. And more stores and a bakery and a butchery are near the main road. Touristic half-day trips to the Saint Mountain of Athos embarks from Ormos Panagias also. So, staying in Ormos you save on the bus trip and have a flexibility when to go.||||We spend 3 weeks there and think it's a great place...

Wir haben dieses Hotel für uns entdeckt und kommen immer wieder zu Evangelia's Family House. Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage, es ist ruhig, es gibt einen gepflegten Garten mit Sitzbänken, einen Spielplatz für Kinder hinter dem Haus und kostenlose Parkplätze. Der beste Strand in Chalkidiki ist nach 3 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Der sandige Strand ist groß, genug Platz um Abstände einzuhalten. Es gibt Sonnenschirm und Liegenverleih, übrigens sehr günstig. Jede Menge Restaurants, es gibt auch Supermärkte, Bäckerei und Reisebüros für Tagesfahrten. Vom Strand ist der berühmte Berg Athos zu sehen, es besteht die Möglichkeit eine Tagesschifffahrt zum Berg zu buchen - sprechen Sie bitte Evangelia an. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist sehr gut, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Es gibt eine Kochnische, die voll ausgestattet ist, Das Bad ist mit Fenster. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Es gibt einen großen Kleiderschrank. Der Kühlschrank verfügt über ein Gefrierfach - gut für Eis, oder Eiswürfeln. Der Balkon ist groß, es gibt einen Tisch mit vier Stühlen. Wir haben immer auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt und abends Karten gespielt. Das Zimmer hat doppelte Beleuchtung. Es ist sehr sauber. Es wird jeden Tag geputzt und die Handtücher werden täglich ausgetauscht. ||Ich reise viel, aber so gut organisiertes familiengeführtes Hotel haben ich zum ersten Mal gesehen. Die Familie spricht Englisch und ein wenig Deutsch. Evangelia und Dimitri sind die besten Gastgeber die man sich nur wünschen kann. Sie sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, gebildet und aufgeschlossen. Man erfährt von ihnen viel Interessantes über Land, Leute und Kultur Griechenlands. Sie geben gute Ausflugstipps und Infos. Dieses Jahr durften wir auch ihre bezaubernde zwei Töchter und einen Sohn und einen Enkel kennenlernen und an der Familienfeier - Geburtstag - teilnehmen. Wir sind sehr froh darüber, dass es auch dieses Jahr geklappt hat bei Evangelia und Dimitri unseren Urlaub zu verbringen.
