I am truly at a wonder why this is categorized as a 3* hotel. It should at least be 4! Stefanos (the manager) is truly a one person wonder. No task or issue is too big or too small for him. Yes the rooms are small, and yes the lift is one person only, however the low price coupled with the location (absolute center) makes this a true value for money. We had 2 families on a trip with 4 rooms booked between us and even though we had a few minor issues, all were resolved in time we returned for the afternoon rest. Would definitely recommend both to family travelers and business people alike who need a city location to stay in.

What a lovely hotel in Thessaloniki! The location is wonderfully central, close to the vibrant late-night area. I had the pleasure of staying there for two nights, and I must say, the price was fantastic for the value offered. The room, while cozy, was quite nice and impeccably clean.

The room was nothing special or fancy but the beds were great and clean. The guys at the reception were really kind and helpful.

We slept here for one night only. We immediately put our stuff in our room and went sightseeing. We had a quick look at the room which did not make a good impression. The bathroom was very small and was dirty, meanwhile the bedroom area was average. This is the smallest bathroom I have ever seen!!!||We quickly left and did not have the chance to talk with the staff to express our complaints. We had another look at our booking and noticed that the bathroom pictures in the website are completely different from the one we had. They have different types of bathrooms for different rooms but none of them were either that small or that ugly. They are clearly trying to scam people. You book something but then end up with something completely different.||We came to the room and my boyfriend went to raise the issue of the bathroom. First they told him that “oh after 7 hours u come to complain “ as if we were in the hotel the whole time. Moreover when we raised the issue of the online pictures being misleading and that we will upload the pictures of the bathroom online for other people to see the guy got super angry. His answer was “ I will ban you from booking and I hope you have a good lawyer “. This is crazy considering 1. They are wrong because they are lying on their website 2. Thinking they have such authority and that I will shut up if say they will ban me 3. Threatening seems something they have mastered through time since the guy seemed so confident. It seems that people before were also treated like us. ||The next morning we left our room and had to hand in our card. When we went to the service desk the guy did not say a single word, either good morning or good bye. While we were talking he even ignored looking at us. This was funny and ugly at the same time, so I told him that its not okay to behave like this with your guests, to which he responded “what do you mean” and we just left. ||We did not pay an extraordinary amount to stay in this hotel, but it is definitely not of the standard that it claims to have. There is no parking at all in these streets and the hotel only has 2 parking spaces. Moreover you have to take stairs to the elevator (??), one of the people helped us when we came with one of our suitcases but when we left they did not of course because they considered us the “bad” people since we simply raised the issue that we felt deceived.||I slept terribly in this place, both because of the stress that the service desk guy caused me but also because I was afraid something would happen to our car during the night. I would NEVER stay in this hotel ever again and I would advise no...

We stayed in room 220 if you would like to stay in the room i have reviewed here.

For the money you can't go wrong with this hotel. Our room (220) was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable if a little hard.

Pillows are good not too thin, and the shower room is new and has a nice big shower head.

There is a plug socket on one side of the beds and uplighters in both sides of the beds. We had a triple room, so please note that when reading the review.

There were some complimentary coffee sachets and biscuits on offer, which was nice.

The windows kept most of the noise out, and we were able to sleep uninterrupted.

There was a little balcony to sit on but only enough room for one.

Breakfast was included and was serviceable, continental style, nothing cooked, and also some cereals along with tea and coffee and orange juice.

One important thing to note about this hotel is the lift, it is TINY and can only fit one person and a suitcase in it so please be aware of this if you need to use the lift or have a family and need to move lots of things up and down, it's a bit of a problem.

Overall though this was a fantastic room for the price and you are right in the centre of Thessalonika.

We paid 76 euros for one night and this is a steal.

I'd suggest booking up room 220, the hotel will have no idea why the room...

I totally loved this place - it's exactly what a non pretentious, but budget friendly hotel should be. The hotel is mostly touted for its budget but its history stretches back a full century to when it was built to replace an even older hotel that was lost in the fire of 1917. The rooms and corridors feature high, ornamented and guilded ceilings with old nooks and crannies and tons of character - but everything functional (tv's, AC, Bedding, Keys, closets, etc) has received a wonderful modern upgrade. Plus it's right in the heart of town and very affordable - if you do find somewhere slightly cheaper it's definitely worth a couple more euros a night to stay here. Arguably the best part are the two wonderful guys who you'll find running it - and I honestly can't decide whether I like Stephanos or Dimitris more. Ask them about anything - whether it's about a service you need, be a travel recommendation, or just their take on the towns history, and they're genuinely happy to help. One thing I might recommend would be bringing some shower sandals - the utterly spotless bathroom floor did get a bit wet when I would shower. Generally this is an excellent place and I wish I could find...
