I went to this restaurant twice with my friends during our travels in Thessanoliki as recommended by a local. Each time, we were blown away by the friendly service and lively atmosphere. We all enjoyed the food, and even ordered certain items for a second time during our second visit. We also received a complimentary dessert and liquor each time, which I believe is common in Greece. The food portions were satisfying and tasted amazing. The second visit especially the servers were attentive in helping us choose items and making sure we left on time for the airport to catch our flight home. However, I unfortunately got food poisoning on my second visit after eating the Pancetta (signature dish), which no one else in my party had and I had not ordered this before. I hope this was a one-time incident, but this was an unpleasant experience as I was nauseas during my flight back home and I was immediately throwing up when I returned from the airport. A great find surprisingly close to the center of the new city. Tucked away in a little lane this establishment serves up all the Cretan classics like in chania.

The service is extremely friendly with some really nice guys who take the time to talk through the fresh dishes of the day.
