Bluewhite Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Owner very disrespectful and greedy. Promises and contracts were broken. The only nice person there was the cleaning lady. Rooms ok, not what we expected. Theres only 2, not 3 bedrooms as advertised. Washing mashine costs 20€ per usage. Dishwasher broken. Only 4 plates and forks/knives and only a little pan and pot - cant cook anything because of it. Beds are mattresses on slabs of stone - hurt all of our backs. Not recommended. Also please be aware: the Villa is split into two parts (upper and lower) and when we booked we though we booked the whole villa but no - there was other people in the room below us. That was also not out mistake because on there are pictures of the whole villa including the lower part - what you see on google is not what you get!

This is false. First of all we talked a lot to the owner or rather the wife that we were told was the one in charge. She was very disrespectful and wanted us to pay a few thousand Euros more because she said we lied about the count of persons - which is false and we have proof of the chats where we talked about the number of guests beforehand. And yes we were told by exactly this woman that laundry costs extra although theres no information about this before online. Yes, basic cooking equipment is provided but given there is 2 bedrooms for 4 people and 1 place on the sofa there is not enough for the...

To start with, Ina (our host), was a great help. She got in touch with us in advance, making sure we’d have a smooth check in. She arranged a private driver from the airport and everything was just spot on. It’s very important to arrive at your holidays with no stress. The driver was polite, and a good professional. We’ve had a nearly 1 hour delay, he was there with a smile, a name sign and did not ask us for extra charge for waiting (even though we were happy to tip him). I highly recommend to pre-arrange transfer via the property, it’s so worth of what you pay.

Our welcome was beautiful and Ina was just what we needed. Detailed enough about general info (restaurants, places to visit, tours etc) for our 2 nights stay, but we did not feel any pressure as we felt on previous holidays. Our suite was beautiful, modern, chic, minimalistic and I loved the smell…!! Very clean, beautiful bathroom & shower and the outdoor area was superb with fantastic views.
