Erossea Villa Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Omg, where do I start? I was looking for the perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday with a group of friends. I saw the posting for Erossea And I knew it was the one. It had the right amount of rooms with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. I rented the entire villa so that I could have both the suites and the villa section with the pool and jacuzzi. I wasn’t quite sure What to expect given the pictures and reviews. Sure, they look great, but I don’t think that they quite portray the actual awesomeness of this entire place. It is almost unreal. Svati was so wonderful in helping me Schedule transportation, Sunset cruise, dinner reservations, spa, yoga and she even had special surprises for my birthday. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She is such a sweet host! We were welcomed with wine and fruit. The wine was so good. Each bedroom was done to perfection as well as is the entire facility. It’s almost like they paint and do everything each time a new guest comes. The bedding feels like it’s from a luxury hotel and I loved it so much that I actually bought some for my birthday to use in my bedroom at home. The Decor..just everything that was provided was beyond perfect. I don’t think you actually realize how many little details they think of until you actually look around the place and see how nice it is there. It’s definitely high-end. Billy helped us with luggage so it wasn’t a problem getting it to the actual rooms. Each day he would bring us the breakfast of our dreams. We just had to put down what we desired each morning and it was so fresh, absolutely delicious. Breakfast came with the rental. I can’t say anything more about this place. It was almost magical, and the views were astounding. We went to a spa that wasn’t too far from the villa and got to see some of the surrounding buildings.I think that is also when we realized how perfect and how much work Svati, Maria and Billy put into having this place be absolutely perfect for each and every guest. We didn’t even really get to scrape the surface of this wonderful place. I can see why other guests choose it for big vacations and weddings. We have been to Santorini four times and really like Imerovigli as a home base to enjoy the island. The sunsets here are stunning without the crowds, especially if you are staying at this villa. This gorgeous villa exceeded our expectations and had absolutely serene vibes. As the "cruise director" of our group trip to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, I am so grateful to Svati, Billy, and Maria for their excellent support and service. I felt like I had the dream team to make all our wishes come true, starting from the delicious and personalized breakfast that accommodated dietary restrictions, to yoga (led by Svati!), refreshing pool and hot tub dips that was cleaned every morning, with refreshed towels, daily invisible housekeeping, to managing transportation and logistics. We also appreciated the help with our luggage; although the stairs are not that steep compared to some other villas we have stayed at in the past.

The Grecian cavern-like architecture, beautiful interior, and comfortable beds, plus the refrigerators and ice machine, were appreciated by our group of well-traveled friends. Oh, and that spectacular view includes Skaros rock and neighboring islands. Tip: Be sure to visit Mikra Thira winery on Thirasia islet. The villa perches right above the Caldera path, which is convenient to walk to restaurants, Oia and Fira villages. I really missed Svati when I went on to other islands, as she was instrumental in our daily planning. The private chef team for a welcome dinner was also a highlight of our stay, including the yoga and massages on that gorgeous patio. I am recommending this to all our friends, and when we go back, I will certainly, without hesitation, return to Villa Erossea. Erossea Villa is amazing. It is the best location in the best place on Santorini for views and sunset (Imerovigli). The villa is amazing and provides the unique experience of living in Santorini. No hotel / other villa can beat this experience. The Villa is right on the Oia to Fira walking path and situation at an elevation so Ur mostly walking down to to Fira or Oia from the Villa. The Villa is also surrounded by some amazing restaurants in walking distance including Athenian House. Plus you don't have to book the coveted sunset time spots at these restaurants as the best sunset is right in front of you in your villa. Svati, the Villa Manager, is amazing and tremendously helpful. The sailing trip she recommends is a must. Also the wine-tasting she recommended was amazing. Billy or Bilal-Bhai is awesome and super helpful & flexible. He brings great breakfast every morning. Maria who cleans the villa everyday is amazing too. There are lot of shops and additional top restaurants just a few steps-up, super convenient to grab a bottle of Champaign just before the sunset. Svati also arranges great massage / spa options that can be done in the room/patio. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, and created some of the best memories of our life in August 2022.
