Neptune Luxury Spa Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I cannot recommend Neptune Luxury Spa Suites enough, I wish I could tell everyone about how amazing this place is and I hope they get enough credit they deserve! Everything about Neptune Luxury Spa Suites deserves a 5 Star!!! Out of all places we stayed in the 8 countries we visited on our 5 week travel, this was by far the best and I do not think it will ever be topped. All the staff are incredibly kind, Panos the Manager is an absolute Gentleman, and regardless how beautiful Neptune Suites is, the staff really made this even better. They had gone above and beyond to make our stay perfect and they were so warm and inviting. Panos even made us each a free cocktail one day for no reason. To start off, we had an issue with a dodgy "taxi driver", our fault really we should have booked the transfer with the hotel (I would recommend doing this). I contacted Panos, the Suite Manager, through the app explaining the issue and to ask if he could meet us out the front of the hotel as we were about distressed in which he replied straight away and with no doubt waited at the very front for our arrival. He greeted us with champagne and assured us we were in safe hands. He took the time to show us locations on the map and explained where things were. He even made a suggestion on a restaurant called Asterias and organised for the restaurant to pick us up and return us back to Neptune for free. The food at Asterias was beyond exceptional and was the best (and clearly fresh) seafood we have had. Asterias was such a beautiful setting, you are dining on the water so it was such a beautiful way to end our first day in Santorini. Our room was incredible, every single detail was beyond standard. Clean, comfortable and breathtaking. The bed is so comfortable, our shower turned into a sauna with a touch of a button. You have everything you could possibly need. Now lets not forget our view, we had views of the caldera, so absolutely beautiful to sit out on our balcony and watch day and night. Our pool was heated which was PERFECT for me, I can never enjoy pools because they are usually too cold so it was a great surprise. Our room came with breakfast included, we tried the "Greek" breakfast the first day and that was beautiful and had the "American" breakfast for the other two mornings.. please keep in mind that they give you so much and almost too much so try pick what you like only because the give a lot and we felt so bad about wasting anything so usually over-ate. I cannot explain how amazing all the food was and you can choose the time you want it delivered to your room then enjoy eating with a view on your beautiful balcony. Neptune Luxury Suites is located in Akrotiri which is not one of the main parts however we spent most of our time in the hotel... when its that good who wouldn't? We hired a car organised by Panos and it was such an easy experience. My Partner has an international licence and I recommend to make sure you have that organised prior to your trip. They dropped the car off to Neptune at the selected time and we just used google maps to get around. This allowed us to go to Thira or Oia with ease and it took probably 20-30 minutes which isn't long. Upon going to these areas that are more "popular" for their location I couldn't understand why. It was busy with people and no views really special that you already get staying at Neptune. The area of Akrotiri is quiet but you can always venture out to the main parts to experience the bustle. I would recommend going to watch the sunset in Oia though. Walking through Oia cliffside you can see the pools of the villas etc so you wouldn't get any privacy at all and who really wants to stay somewhere where there are so many tourists flooding the area everyday. Having the car made everything so easy, to the point we were allowed to take it to the airport with our luggage inside and leave the car at the airport. I struggled with finding a place to stay for our recent vacation in Santorini. Finally, I found Neptune Luxury Spa Suites, which had great reviews and amazing views. We were thrilled with our stay at Neptune and glad we made this decision. First, accommodation was a Deluxe Spa with outdoor private pool with a Caldera view. The room was reasonably sized for 3 people with a bathroom/sauna. The outdoor pool was fantastic, with a great view of the sea and the caldera. The pool had a jacuzzi and a large patio for viewing or sunbathing. The pace is located in Akrotiri, and hence very quiet and comforting. Of course, this means the pace is a bit far from Thira and Oia, but it is reasonable to use other transportations to get to these places, while you enjoy your quiet and exclusive vacation. Second, the amenities were superb. It starts with a sumptuous breakfast served in your room at a time desired by the guest. They also provide room service with a modest venue, with plenty of options for closely restaurants within walking distance. The place is also close to local area attractions like Akrotiri Archeological Site, red beach and Lost Atlantis experience. The hotel provides ample space for parking if you rent a car/vehicle. The Staff is excellent, pleasant and always available for guest needs. The hospitality staff Johanna and Sophia were outstanding in helping us with our itinerary. This includes transportation, dinner arrangements, catamaran cruises or any other local information, The hotel is small enough and I was impressed that both were always available to answer our questions and needs. It is remarkable that the staff recommends places from personal experiences. In particular, there was a restaurant we were interested in dining, and the staff dined at the restaurant the next day and gave us the feedback and made reservations for us. We find this experience exceptional in every way. In addition, the hotel offers airport pickup and drop off per request. As you can imagine, the summer costs of accommodation in Santorini is not cheap, but our stay at Neptune Luxury Spa and Suites was worth every penny. We, a family of 3, 2 adults and a child, stayed at Neptune Luxury Suites for 5 nights from the 21st October until the 26th October 2024. It cost us 36 euros in a taxi each way to and from the airport which was kindly arranged by Vicky at Neptune Suites. We booked directly through the hotel’s website after speaking with Vicky on the phone. Booking directly saved a lot of money ! ||The 3 of us had the most wonderful time and didn’t want to come home! The suite we stayed in, number 4, was gorgeous with beautiful views of The Caldera, Fira & Oia and for a fraction of the price of the above mentioned resorts. Our 5 year old daughter loved the heated plunge pool! We hired a car for 40 euros per day (also organised by Vicky) and explored the whole Island. The suites aren’t too far away from anywhere, the island is quite small. Our room was cleaned daily and breakfast was brought to us every morning at our chosen time between 8am and 10am. Breakfast included Greek Yoghurt, granola, honey, bread, jams, chocolate spread, fruits, ham, cheese, pastry, crepes, pancakes eggs and orange juice. Our room came complete with bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, a hair dryer, iron & coffee machine. ||I was worried that the island wouldn’t have an atmosphere at the end of the season but needn’t have worried. Although some restaurants and activities were closed, there was plenty open and still many many tourists in the popular tourist areas. I’d dread to think how busy it is in peak season!|| I have to give a special mention to the staff at Neptune suites, especially Vicky. Vicky was so kind and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble, she organised everything for us including restaurant reservations, car hire and airport transfers. She paid so much attention to my 5 year old daughter who absolutely adored her. On the day that we departed, Vicky bought a gift for my daughter and coloured a picture of a mermaid for her. This was such a lovely touch and made me very emotional. Vicky, you made our holiday extra special and we cannot thank you enough. You are worth your weight in gold and are a credit to Neptune...
