Spotless place in a prime location in Perissa, literally yards from the huge beach. So long as you accept that the rooms are basic, there is nothing to dislike. All are functional, with decent sized beds, good air conditioning (although a little on the noisy side if left on full all night), powerful showers and a decent sized fridge. We had Superior rooms which are upstairs, and are lighter and brighter than those on the ground floor or in the basement. the rooms are cleaned every day with bedding changed on alternate days, and fresh towels daily. Everything is immaculate.||As per other reviews, breakfast is basic and the same every day. Don't expect too much, but it is enough to get you by, and you can always bring your own food to the breakfast room if you want to supplement it.||The pool is fine, medium sized with enough loungers. Max depth is 1.5m, so not exactly deep.||Alex the ever-present host is wonderful, a really friendly guy, always happy to help and full of tips of where to go locally. He makes an effort, chats to everyone, always cheerful. The bar/restaurant and the beach in front of the hotel is great too, but run separately and is a different business to the hotel. Food and drinks are good, and so long as you buy drinks or food you can get sunbeds, cabanes or loungers and lovely parasols free all day on the beach. The staff there are brilliant, really attentive and friendly, especially Roy and Stelios who just make everyone laugh all day long.||There are certainly more luxurious places to stay in Perissa, but for the money it is fair. My two daughters (15 and 19) felt safe and enjoyed the freedom in the relaxed environment of Perissa and its amazing beach.||4 stars only because the breakfast is just that bit too basic - otherwise would have been an easy 5 star review.|Date of...
Read moreStayed for 1 week, through an easyJet holiday. When we arrived we were welcomed by the loveliest host. He showed us to our room and explained all of the facilities. Our room was the one closest to the pool which was really nice and we had a lovely view of the hills from our terrace. The room itself is small, but has modern decor and is clean. The bed was big and comfortable, the pillows very comfy and plentiful and the air conditioning worked great. There is also a fridge freezer in the room so we got some food from the local shops for lunches. The TV signal isn't great when it's windy, but it's not a big deal as we spent barely any time in the room anyway! Another very minor issue is sometimes the shower temperature can be temperamental. The room has only a small window, which can be covered with a shutter, which was great for us as it was good for sleeping in, which we like to do on holiday. The continental breakfast is very basic so we mostly ate breakfast at the local bakery instead. The pool is very nice and some days very quiet so you can almost get it to yourself. The location of the hotel is lovely, literally just cross a path to get to the beach where you can use the sunbeds for free. You can also buy drinks if you wish and you get a discount as hotel guests. We would definitely stay again if we come to Perissa -...
Read moreI paid for the best room in the hotel but unfortunately they doubled booked. I was first given the basement room 104. It was literally so bad. The ac switches of after a few hours. The bathroom looked run down and the door handle was literally falling off. After I rang easyjet help service to rectify the situation the next day I was given room 205 a mid level room. A downgrade from the original room I got. It was definitely a better experience. The room was good and the bathroom was well maintained. The bathroom was well looked after. Alex was kind but it seemed like he was didn't know what he was doing. I'd ask him to help me but he either convenient forgotten or he'd take his time. He was not like this with other guests so I have no idea why he was like this to me. He did go on a rant about the ottoman empire and Muslims so maybe it has something to do with that but I'm not one to speculate. Mohammed the cleaner was amazing. He left my room clean every single day. Helped me with my luggage when I needed help. He definitely is the silent hero of the hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. Near the black beach and the pool. The pool however isn't cleaned every day and there were a a lot of dead bugs in it before they cleaned it. If you can get a room mid level or higher then it is...
