I've noticed some negative reviews here that seem a bit misleading, and honestly, I find them pretty amusing. Like the guy who never even visited the restaurant but decided to leave a one-star review just because he didn’t appreciate the staff inviting him in—who does that? 😄

Roy, who greets you on the beach road, is always welcoming with a smile. He’s incredibly charming and charismatic, and while he’s definitely encouraging you to try the restaurant, he does so with the utmost friendliness and professionalism. The owner, Nikos, is just as warm. He pours love and care into every dish, and if you take a moment to chat with him, you’ll gain a lifelong friend who’ll greet you with a smile and a bear hug every time you return.

The location is fantastic—right on the black sands of Perissa and centrally located. It’s the perfect spot to relax for a few hours with some cold drinks and mezes. We often stay at the Black Rose next door, and this is our go-to place for lunch and snacks. The Domatokeftethes are some of the best I’ve had in Santorini, and they always come with a smile. There are plenty of options on the beach, but Loquita is definitely a top choice if you’re looking for a sunbed, a swim, and a light...

Tourist rip off. Fake 'greeters ' at the door with corny 'where you come from' lines to get you in. Asked if they have kleftiko as not on the menu. He didn't know what this famous Greek dish was ! The ' manager ' however said they did it. Should have heeded instincts. Back at table a bit of ' upselling ' when I asked if it comes with potato or rice. Then some frozen almost cooked French fries appeared and some disgusting red wine with an ice cube in it ! After half an hour a piece of paper wrapped bit of food arrived and my concerns were realised as it was just 4 bits of shish kebab meat in a little roasted veg. I'd been told it wasn't on the menu as it was 'new' but was 18 Euros. They tried to argue the toss until Google images proved what should have been served. Paid 5 euros for the cold vinegar wine and left to get kleftiko a few minutes further up in Appolon which is a decent place. Unbelievably they tried to charge me for the frozen chips and took the money offered for the plonk. Avoid. Lying to customers is never...

The guys here are trying to earn a living which I understand… to a point. The constant harassment every time you walk past has put me off going here.

The reason for leaving a single star review is I have interacted with this business and staff multiple times but I have not purchased anything. It is a negative interaction and I believe feedback is required.

All holiday we have walked past this bar/ restaurant and we have been nagged, followed and heckled, with the sole intention of coercing me to go somewhere I don’t want to go. This has actively made me want to avoid going here. As it is located on the beach front road, you have to walk past if you want to explore the beach.

A couple of attempts, to politely ask if you want to visit would have been enough but the 8th, 9th or 10th time is beyond acceptable.

“I recognise your face, come here for a drink” and “you look like you need a drink” is beyond annoying a creepy.

Stop putting tourists off before they have even step foot inside...

Loquita is a FANTASTIC place to eat and drink if you’re staying in the Perissa/Perivilos area. My partner and I loved it here and discovered it on the main strip of Perissa beach, the waiter was so lovely and friendly, he made us feel right at home and spoke to us like he’d known us for ages, he also gave us deals on drinks. The food was delicious, the service was fast, the prices weren’t ridiculous (same can’t be said for many other places in Santorini), and even the locals were eating here which, for my partner and I, is a massive green flag! We went back twice we loved it so much and saw the same locals in there each time. The traditional Santorini tomato balls are a must try they were beautiful! We’re vegetarian so didn’t eat the sea food, but we spoke to a few people in there who said they’d had the sea bass and other sea food dishes such as the fried Calamari and they said these were delicious. All in all I’d highly recommend Loquita, cheap, cheerful, and all around good vibe.
