AssosView Villas Kefalonia — Hotel in Sami Municipality

We were delighted with the accommodation in Villa Petrino, in Assos, where we stayed for a week in late September 2024.  The villa was spotlessly clean, in a traditional style & was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need.  The views were amazing & it was so easy to walk into the village & to the small beach for a swim.  There is a car parking space, although be prepared for the steep climb down to the Villa.  It’s well worth the effort! We were made so welcome by the owners, who also prepared a much-appreciated & substantial welcome pack.  Assos is a quiet, picture postcard pretty village in a good location for exploring the less touristy part of the island in the North of Kefalonia.  I cannot recommend this villa highly enough & it has to be one of the best we have stayed in! The incredible views alone make it a stand-out choice & we would love to go...

Second time here. Beautiful appartment with it's own pool. It doesn't get better than this. Update 2020 - we have stayed here again in 2019 & 2020. Two of the villas have pools, which are always warmer than the sea. Extremely well maintained. Always clean and inviting. The apartments are also well maintained and the owner is always close, if you need anything. In 2019, we stayed in smaller villa, with no pool, still wonderful, but missed the swimming! Smaller villa only has one bedroom, but still has everything you need. The main part of Assos is less than five minutes walk downhill. The way back takes longer as it is all uphill or maybe I am just getting old... I thoroughly recommend this...

Undoubtedly it is the best place to stay in Assos and maybe and without exaggeration, in whole Kefalonia island. There are 3 villas, 2 of them have a private pool and all of them dispose of a huge terrace with the most beautiful view you could imagine. The villas in the interior are big and comfortable and there is provided any kind of facility could make your stay comfortable. Top advantage are the owners who are so warm and friendly and make you feel at home. I could not recommend...
