How can I start, very few times I stayed in a 3 stars, but this one for sure scored among the highest. The property is super well maintained, you can for sure notice that from the day you check in, in addition to that very clean and super well organized. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk to the old port of Skiathios and definitely centrally located. The hotel had an excellent neighborhood and view from the rooms to the medditeraniean. |The AC was really good, it switch of if you open your balcony window which is smartly built and the beds are comfortable. |Swiming pool is available Incase you want a quick swim by the pool but for us we never used it as there are so many amazing beaches in the Island to try. |The owners (Rea & Panos) are exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, they make you feel at ease, even before your check in to anticipate your needs, there is always an answer and a help if you reach out to them. |If you are looking for a 3 star hotel with clean rooms, close proximity to the old port and tourist attractions, this is the one you need to select, without any doubt. |You need to consider that there is no laundry or room service on property, while there is a breakfast that is served daily according to your need or else you can buy from the neighborhood grocery your own food as the rooms are equipped with a small...
Read moreI was a solo female traveller staying at Hotel Rea for 6 nights and my experience there couldn't have been any better.||I had a studio with a beautiful sea view, the room itself was spacious, modern, well designed, and always spotlessly clean. ||As a solo traveller, safety is always very important to me, and I felt perfectly safe here. The bus stop outside the hotel was very convenient, and the proximity to town was great.||Panos (who speaks amazing English) very kindly provided transfers at no extra cost, collecting me from the ferry and taking me to the airport on departure, and his friendly and welcoming personality meant I instantly knew I'd made a good decision in booking Hotel Rea. His sister, Rea, and the rest of the team were also all very friendly, nothing was too much to ask. I read another review which compared staying here to staying with your favourite cousins - and I completely agree! On the day that I was due to check out it was raining quite heavily, so Panos and Rea offered for me to keep the room at no cost until the evening when it was time to leave for the airport, which I really...
Read moreJust returned from our first visit to beautiful Skiathos, and our stay at the pretty, elegant Hotel Rea. What a good choice we made. So easy to get to town, either by walking or by bus (stop 5) which is just a few yards from main entrance. Several very good restaurants close by and a beach. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, had a balcony with gorgeous views and comfortable beds and pillows. Linen and towels were changed very regularly and the room was cleaned daily. The pool area and grounds were very well maintained and pretty. A small bar area & ample well-padded Sun loungers with shades available, together with table and chairs for freshly prepared snacks/lunches etc. Panos & Rea, together with their lovely staff, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay here is perfect. We were very sad to leave…...
