Food was good, could have added an element to the dishes to bring them together, balance them more and give them so colors. I had the meatballs and my wife had the chicken. Presentation on both were quite poor but the taste was good, Just lacked a little something to make them shine. The meatballs were Just that and some fries, could use a small salad or a small side sauce. The chicken was Brown on Brown. Not very fancy plating with breadcrumbs and Brown mushrooms so the entire plate was Brown, could also use some acidity to balance it and something to not make it all Brown. Could also be better without all the small chicken bones. Made it quite cumbersome to eat. Taste was good though. We went for dinner and we had the best time ever. Everything is perfect, the location is so relaxing, the staff very polite and make you feel welcome. The food...just delicious. We had a ceasar salad and It was the best one I have ever eaten since now. Fresh, simple ingredients cooked with love. Hubby had steak and fries, also very very good. We stopped by for a spontaneous lunch and were so glad we did! It's a hidden gem, the staff are excellent, and they genuinely care about their service (for example offered a free dessert when the salad came slightly delayed).
