Maria Studios — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in September and were not disappointed. We were very happy with our room, especially because we had a huge, corner balcony (room #10). It had a view of the town and the hillsides, but was still quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside and admiring the view. The rest of the rooms have small balconies none of which wrap around. ||||The accommodations were simple, but very clean, quiet, and surprisingly smoke free. The bathroom was also fine. The hotel was super clean, looked fresh, and maybe a bit sterile because of all the large cream tiles. They have a small parking lot in the back of the building, which was really useful and also one of the reasons why we reserved a room here. It definitely beat trying to park our car in tight and narrow streets. The location of the hotel is fantastic. We were 1 block from the main street and about 5 blocks from the marina. We stayed 1 night after arriving from Skopelos and heading to the airport next day. The staff were very pleasant and would seem to live on the ground floor. We spoke with them in Greek and not sure if they spoke much English.||First impression on seeing our room was how clean it was. Everything was absolutely spotless, the floor, the surfaces, the bedding and the toilet and shower. The room size was very good with a large balcony (room 10) though not all the balconies were quite so big. There is air conditioning and there was also a large radiator so these rooms may be suitable for colder off season visits.||The studios are well & centrally situated and easy to find. Everything is impecably clean, there is daily cleaning service, and the lady is doing a great job, she is very kind and helpful.

The rooms are ok, with everything you need. Even if it doesn't have a great view (to the parking place in the back), you can still see the mountains, and the balcony with table and seats is enjoyable.

There is a fridge, air conditioning, safe, flat-screen tv.

It is not a luxury hotel, if this is what you are looking for. But It is great value for the money (the price was common sense to low)

The location is very central, on a lively street filled with terraces, taverna's, bars. At the same time, very quiet! I think it's perfect!
