I love souvlaki — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

We came here after reading good reviews, specifically looking for a proper pork souvlaki pita. The name of the place —‘I Love Souvlaki’— seemed promising enough. We clearly ordered a pork souvlaki, and upon opening the wrapping, we found it was a gyros instead. We hadn’t touched the food and informed them immediately.

The young waiter who took our order —strong build, long hair— didn’t acknowledge the mistake. Instead, he kept questioning us, as if his order machine was more trustworthy than the customers standing in front of him. Perhaps he expected us to confirm the order via telepathy.

He took our plates, then brought them back unchanged, only to say that since we had opened the wrapping, the food couldn’t be replaced. He stared at us, wordlessly, as though trying to pressure us into eating something we didn’t order. His solution? That we pay again for the dish we actually wanted.

No apology, no compromise. Just condescension and an attitude that made us feel dismissed and uncomfortable.

We left without eating.

What should’ve been a simple, enjoyable dinner turned into a surreal, unpleasant experience. We’ll have our first proper souvlaki...

If you're looking for a souvlaki or gyros that won't disappoint you, this is the place. Fair prices, good & fresh food, portions are big enough to satisfy an appetite. Nice and clean terrace, polite and helpful staff. Happy customer here 🙂

Regarding some of the reviews, have nothing against vegetarians, hell more meat on my plate of veggies, but you know the place is called I♥️souvlaki for a reason 😅🤣🤣🤣 I've had food intolerances for 10 years and I'm sure the staff tried their best to accommodate vegetarian demands, but guys don't give low reviews simply because...

I ordered Mix Grill For 2 with my boyfriend (who eats like an absolute horse) and we could not finish the plate for the life of us. It costed 30 eur and they had a variery of meat, but too little fries or sauce for my liking or for the amount of meat. I would say that, generally, their food is really good, but just a little expensive for me. :)
