P-eat Stop — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

We came for brunch on our last day in Skiathos. I had a toast with scrambled eggs and sausages, my girlfriend had croque madame. My girlfriend's food was very good, mine however, was below average. The bread was dry and tough as this type of bread is not suitable for toasting. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, dry and totally tasteless, sausages looked like deepfried and were not appetizing at all. In general the food was extremely dry and the only thing on the toast with any taste was the bacon. Two frozen hashbrowns and a basic small salad as a side did not really make any difference. From other reviews it is obvious it is a great place for drinks, however, the quality of the food is, at least per our experience, inconsistent. My GF's food was worth solid 4.5, mine was however 2,...

Unfortunately, our experience at this brunch place was very disappointing. We were charged an extra 5 euros that wasn’t on the original bill, they added it to the final bill with the description of “food”. The food was not really good either: the avocado was hard and unripe, the bread was tough, the scrambled eggs were completely basic and tasteless, and the pancakes with sauce tasted very strange and unappetizing. My plate had a lot of greas on it, looking like they put the frying oil on top of it. On top of that, the stuff was really pushy, weird and made us feel uncomfortable. It may be a good place for drinks and beers, but not for brunch!...

There are so many restaurants and bars in Skiathos, but this became our regular place for all our 1 week stay in the city. Food is good, cocktails are amazing, and the hospitality of the owner is incredible! I almost felt myself as if it were my own family. I could not wait every evening to go back there, drink some beers, and talk to the owner. You can get a lot of information about the area, activities, or help with car rental, pharmacy, or whatever is needed. It is really a very cozy place with beautiful people. I can only recommend this place and hope I will get back there...
