Oh boy should I have read some recent reviews. This place has turned into a depressing hole with the rudest service that I've ever had the displeasure to experience. I've been coming to thassos on and off for ten years and finikas was always one of my first stops, the food was always kind of average but the homely friend service always made it a nice experience. Cue a few years later, and new owners, and the levels across the board are abysmal. The quality of ingredients has dropped to poor levels, the portions are pathetically small and worst of all the staff are belligerent, rude,obnoxious and useless. Answering in one word answers and aggressive tones, even rolling their eyes and audibly sighing in frustration when I asked for my poor quality souvlaki to be cooked for longer, as the poor quality fatty cuts needed to be more well done than usual. If you want to see what running a restaurant into the ground looks like then visit this place, otherwise I'd recommend eating stray cat mess over eating here. Unfortunately a not so pleasant experience for us. My partner wanted from the menu season fruits. When the lady came to take our order and my partner said her order the lady’s reply was “ if you want fruit you can go to the supermarket and buy some and eat in your room or on the beach” with a condescending attitude. I mean I understand not having an item on the menu but you can be polite about it, not treat us like some idiots... afterwards she came to explain saying “we don’t carry some items on the menu because we want fresh products”... I also understand this but if you don’t carry it then please eliminate it from the menu. Other than this service was fast and food was good. I had the calamari pane.
