This place is perfect both for short weekend-stays as well as for extended vacations, for couples or families with kinds.||PROS:|- This is one of the few places in the front row of buildings, with no obstructions to the sea – a real benefit if you are in love with the Greek sunrises!|- The suites are really spacious, with plenty of room even for large 4 member families; for couples, is a real treat!|- The beds have firm mattresses, something that we really appreciated|- The safe unit is very large, can fit a Surface Pro X and a mirrorless camera with no problems!|- The small kitchen has everything you need, even for an extended stay: induction plate, large microwave unit, cookware, etc.|- The AC units are very efficient, however, being ceiling-installed, they cannot be adjusted for wind direction, so this might be a slight concern for some|- The private terrace is very large, with glass walls that do not impede the gorgeous view of the sea front!|- The staff – especially the front desk clerk and the bartender – are very nice and customer-oriented, eager to meet your expectations.|- The close proximity to the beach, within walking distance, is a real bonus; also, The Cielo Beach (a bar and restaurant included) are very close and provide an amazing experience.|- Rooms are quiet enough to block the live music coming from the hotel across the street|- The common area has all imaginable board games!|- The hotel has its own parking space, even though it is more of a dusty yard, it provides the peace of mind when taking the car exploring the island||CONS:|- The furniture and amenities really start to show their age and need for some rehauling.|- The breakfast is something that needs major reconsideration, especially considering this is a country well renown for its tasty cuisine and healthy meals; even though this venue does not feature a restaurant, and the food is being catered, solutions can be found. ||SOMETHING TO CONSIDER:|- The water pressure and temperature were a problem during our stay (middle of August) – especially in the afternoon, after beach hours, we constantly experienced both drops in water pressure and temperature levels. Upon arrival at the location, the situation was as follows: the handles from the kitchen furniture were rusty the kitchen sink had deposits that could be easily cleaned, but weren't the kitchen appliances were dusty the floor was not cleaned under the chairs and table the lower part of the sofa was dirty the dryer on the balcony was broken. We told the lady in charge of the accommodation about it as soon as we saw it, the next morning after we checked in, but it was fixed after a week, one day before we checked out (we stayed 8 nights). It was fixed probably for the next guests. The electric plate had a defective display and it was pretty hard to select the temperature, because we couldn't read it. Two days before checked out, it malfunctioned, creating a lot of smoke. We had to turn off a fuse to decouple it from electricity, to ensure a fire wouldn't start while we were away, rendering the microwave oven unusable too. The next day by the time we came back from the beach we found it (allegedly) unplugged, with a new mobile electrical plate placed on the counter top. Netflix wasn't working. I assume the hotel owner closed some ports used by the app. I asked the same lady about this problem and she told me "my account doesn't have access to netflix". I asked why, but no reason was provided. The shower was rusty and was wobbling, the shower support broken and the shower booth had mold and dampness in the lower part. The grout in the shower was moldy The toilet flush buttons were moldy/dirty the bathroom was superficially cleaned (there were dirty strikes visible on the mirror and shower booth). Would not...
