I stayed here by myself and consider it a "lucky find". I wanted a clean room, air conditioning, a pool and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. This is exactly what I got!||||I was met by the english wife/owner who was lovely and very helpful. She showed me to my room and I was not disappointed. I also had a fridge and a lovely modern shower.||||Breakfast was an additional 3 euros and buffet style. I liked this: fresh melon, lovely brushettas, cake, bread, greek yogurt and honey and coffee. ||||The location was around a 15 minute down-hill walk into Zakinthos Town. I wouldn't recommend to those who are inform or have young children as the walk was not straight forward and at times, you do need to keep your wits about you. There is only a pavement half of the way. I suppose it is an attitude of mind. I saw the most interesting sites and lovely views so to me, the walk was all part of the visit. Even the uphill walk back seemed to be quicker than the downhill walk there... still haven't worked that one out yet!||||Just to add, I asked for a taxi at the end of a meal (in the evening) and the restauranteurs were only too happy to arrange this. 7 euros from the far side of Zakinthos town.||||The central courtyard of Lofos Strani was beautiful. Flowers, fig trees and plans. Very lush and mediterranean, just as I had hoped. ||||The pool was clean and welcome. There were loungers around the pool so I spent some happy hours reading and dipping. For families, there is an area that is separated with shallow water for young children to play safely. There were some steep drop-offs around the pool so for toddlers, this could pose a problem.||||Just under 3 m at one end and shallow at the other, it was big enough (and deep enough) to jump in and swim to cool off. Just divine.||||My room was cleaned daily. The air conditioning was effective. The bed was firm but comfortable. My balcony and my view was over the courtyard with the hills in the distance.||||I visited Zakinthos about 30 years ago and staying in a taverna. I tried to re-create this experience but with a few (in my opinion) necessary modernities. Logos Strani ticked all the boxes....
Read moreIt's an average hotel with very friendly staff. The Room's have are average and for some reason they don't give you a shampoo for your shower and the toilets has a weird design that haven't seen in any other hotel. The pool a very nice addition. The breakfast is a little poor but at least it has olive oil but no feta. Over all its a hotel you could stay for a week or so if you are not looking for something fancy the bad side is if you don't have a car it's a 20-30 min walk to the bus station(KTEL) but to the centre of the town's its a 10 min walk plus that's the buses going Tsivili have a stop at the intersection section but not the buses going to Laganas :/ *the shampoo that you see in the picture is ours not from the hotel. *ALSO the photos that you see are a little bit of messy because they are not as we at the first day from our stay at the first day the room was a little more...
Read moreThis is a very peaceful and green hotel quite close to the town of Zakynthos. The position is good. You can walk to Zakynthos (but the road is quite dangerous) or up to Bochali beautiful view point. The owners are so kind and helpful! We stayed a little flat with 2+1 beds. Not very big and basic in terms of furniture and supplies, but very reasonable in terms of price. The hotel is not glamorous or super modern, but indeed authentic and well looked after. The structure, made up of several little flats one next above the other, makes it very different than other tall and claustrophobic hotels.||Breakfast is served every morning at a reasonable price.||In general I would suggest this hotel to couples or families with kids, who does not look for noise or vicinity to the busiest areas of the island. The swimming pool is...
