Zakynthos - Villa Golden July — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Wow! This place is exceptional! A must! My family along with another family (10 in total) had the privilege of staying here for 6 nights at the start of our holiday to Greece. And it did not disappoint!! So incredibly relaxing & just beautiful. The villa is perched up high in Akrotiri overlooking the sea. It is very secure and private too. It has beautiful gardens & terraces overlooking the stunning pools and the sea. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool & beautiful canopied cabanas too. Eat fresh figs or fresh apricots directly from the trees (when in season). The villa has 6 beautiful bedrooms with luxury bedding. Even a private little apartment at the top of the villa where hubby and I stayed. Amazing!! Bathrooms and ensuites throughout. A full-sized kitchen with all the mod cons, dining room, living room and so much more. It is all so very clean too. WiFi was excellent, fast & reliable too. The outside bbq area with the traditional wood-fired oven was also excellent. We asked the hosts to organise a traditional greek lamb dinner in the wood-fired oven and it was sublime. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure there was nothing we could want for. Their service alone was outstanding. I could just imagine a wedding at this villa. It would be truly magical. This villa made for a fabulous & memorable holiday. The best part of our holiday. Wish we could go every year only we live...

Words cannot express our PERFECT time we had at Golden July. We've just returned from a one-week family vacation and the first thing I had to do is write this review. The villa itself is just perfect - widespread, all the necessary equipment (and much more), excellent bedrooms, huge kitchen, amazing swimming pool and tremendous attention to the smallest details. The view is breathtaking, something we haven't seen in any other villa we ever stayed in - no matter where you look you see an endless sea. And above all, the way Hara and Giannis hosted us and took care of was something beyond all expectations. They helped with recommendations, made sure that everything stays clean and were available to anything we needed. We never return to the same villa for vacations, but we will DEFINITELY COME BACK TO GOLDEN JULY. The perfect villa in a wonderful area in a wonderful island. Do yourself a huge favor...

Stunning villa in a great location, with amazing hosts! I recently stayed here, celebrating my birthday with friends and family and I could not have wished for a better place to stay. The villa is so well maintained, the grounds are immaculate and the facilities are first class. A special mention to Giannis who arranged so many things for me to help the celebrations, everything from booking a chef to personalising towels, nothing was too much trouble!
