Akti Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Look.. I know there’s a lot 5 star reviews here but I need to be honest. This place had the worst cocktails I’ve ever tasted. They gave us a margarita that was made out of cordial, with a sugar rim instead of salt. They messed up our original cocktail order also and gave 50% of our table incorrect drinks. HOWEVER They were very apologetic about it and gave us free drinks. The drinks were still poorly made though. Please teach your staff to make cocktails 😭

The staff were friendly and kind, but we waited over one and a half hour for our food. We were seated at 9.30pm and waited until 11pm for our mains to arrive. We were starving and falling asleep at the table.

They also had young children that were approximately 10-12 years old working late at night - is this legal?

Word of advice: Please have more chefs, better trained staff and learn to make cocktails properly to improve...

During our holiday we dined at Atki Kitchen and Bar on six occasions, which already speaks for itself. The kitchen is fresh and authentic, with excellent starters, delicious fish dishes, and — according to my wife — very tasty vegetarian plates as well. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and we especially appreciated the warm recognition we received for returning so often. Only twice did we notice a slight drop in standards: once with a prawn dish that offered rather few prawns for the price, and once with a chicken dish that was less impressive compared to the seafood. I honestly have no words to describe how wonderful everything was! The location is stunning — right by the sea with a breathtaking view and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the very beginning.

And now the highlight… the food! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. From the starters to the main courses, each dish was simply perfect. I was truly impressed!
