I wanted to like this place, the views are great and it’s affordable, but the neighborhood dogs and roosters are non-stop noise all night so I barely slept at all. This will probably be the same for any place in this area. My previous hotel near the water was much quieter. Also the hot water in our private bathroom didn’t work at all, and only one of the shared bathroom had working hot water. If you walk there, don’t follow google maps. Turn on the road toward the Blind Lemon and then turn again at the path next to the blue pharmacy to get there. Walking the way google map directs sends you up a crazy steep road only to walk back down to the hotel.

The perfect mix between a hostel and a hotel. Great for those who want their own space but who are also open to connecting with other tourists. The view here is amazing and far away from the center that it’s quiet and peaceful but also close enough that everything is a walking distance. Yes there we’re issues with water but it’s fully fixed now. Wifi is a 7/10 Edit: I have to make an edit and change my rating to a 3.9. Some of my food items have been missing from the kitchen, while I don’t know for sure, I have reason to believe the staff took my things.

The place is minimal and economical. Has a spectacular view! . But you have to go up a mountain to get there, and cars are not able to go up. You have to walk. If you can't carry your luggage you need to pay someone to help you. The staff is nice, but they are not always there. The rooms are clean, and they had room with private bathrooms or share bathroom. A hammock in front of every room.

I'm sorry to say although the view is nice and the bed is Comfy. It is not worth your time coming here. When I got to my room there was a big poop in the toilette. It was too late so I didn't want to say anything or get to another hotel or. Not to mention it was so difficult to find this place my tuktuk driver got lost for an hour . If you have bags this is not the spot there are way too many steps and it's difficult to get up there . The number one thing that annoyed me the most was the shower did not work. No water. I did not get 1 shower during my stay and I tried at night when I arrived and when I woke up in the morning. Did I mention there were bugs everywhere. I asked for my $ back and they said no sorry can't get rid of the bugs no sorry the water is unpredictable there. If you are running a business the water should be running no matter what the case if people are paying you to stay there and if the water is not working don't allow people to stay there. Horrible experience I would give this place a...

Worst place I have ever been, First there is no reception. You need to carry your things up the hill for couple of minutes and then wait forever to the owner to come and give you your room. There is literally no office .When the owner comes he gives you a random room and not your room. The thing is the prices he offers for the new room is much more expensive than the room you ordered for yourself, and the room you ordered is not available for some reason. There are a lot of bugs in the room and no one to talk to, also the room is very very dirty. If you want to leave your bags and travel a little bit, forget about it because you don’t have a room for luggage. I really don’t recommend to anyone to come here even if the prices is a little bit cheaper than the other places...

DO NOT GO! To start, they gave us the wrong room. we ordered two rooms with one of them having a private bathroom, and they wanted to give us one room without any bathroom. Honestly it was a miracle in the first place that we actually saw someone from the staff because there's no staff here at any time. When we wanted to leave our luggage here after the checkout they told us to leave it in the kitchen. A marvelous idea considering the fact that anyone can come in and take it. Not to mention the kitchen is tiny enough as it is. And to top things off we shared the room with a swarm of flying ants that were all over the beds. Of course by the time we saw them there was no staff to help us with any...
