This place has the worst service that we encountered throughout Guatemala.||- Booked a room with bathroom, got a room without a bathroom.||- The owner's father, an old and impatient man, does the check-in and when you have questions, you have to speak to his son on the telephone. Neither of these two speak English, only Spanish.||- The old man is ruuuuude.||- We had to wait until we left (after 3 nights) to be refunded for the bathroom we did not get. And we had to ask and go down to the owner, he did not come to clear the matter with us. He prefers to communicate via WhatsApp.||- He assured us that we will have a room with a bathroom the day after we checked in. This never happened.||- He remains full of lame excuses about the accommodation we asked for but did not get.||- The place has a really spectacular view, but it is dirty, and very badly managed. Broken furniture standing around, dirty sheets and blankets lying around. The bed has fleas. Ants are coming out of the wall sockets. The kitchen is dirty. Very dirty. No soap at the washing basins, nor towels.||- Bedding was dirty, stinking like it was already used by at least a dozen of hippies before us. Plus, the bed was broken (the foot-piece / legs).||The first day, the owner told us to cancel the booking we made booking.com and he will "sort us out".||Unfortunately we realised too late that we now could not leave a review on booking.com even though we stayed there for 3 nights. ||So he does not have to share the payment with booking.com and we also can't give a bad review.||It was an unpleasant experience and I would not recommend anyone to come here and...

The private rooms are fine, but the dorm is quite of an experience...

First you have to know it's not an actual dorm, but garage turned into a dorm. Therefore you sleep by a motorbike and it's very dusty (like any garages, right?).

They charge you the same price as for the private rooms (150Q for 2 persons), which is really not fair, as the quality of the service is very different.

In addition, you sometimes have the owners coming in at 7:45am to park a motorbike within your room, or crossing the garage noisily with water tanks or gas tanks. I didn't think this particularly respectful...

It is just being completed so no common visiting sitting areas yet .kitchen is nice and hot showers .only turn water tap on a bit otherwise doesn't get hot . Amazing views from rooms on top two floors .hammocks outside rooms on upper levels We stayed on first level with private shower and toilet .no sinks in rooms .They provide a towel for room . Allowed us to check out a bit later when our shuttle was leaving at 1:30. Does not speak English but we were able to communicate using...

good value and functional hostel, my room was clean and comfortable and each room has a lock and key, but there were a lot of mosquitos. the view from the hostel is absolutely stunning and it has a nice terrace, and it is a nice quiet location, but it takes a little walk up the hill so better to take a tuktuk if you have heavy bags. kitchen is very functional, not the cleanest but works and has filtered water available and 2 fridges. in general, it’s not luxury but it is great value for money
