Price / quality is very good. Rooms are big and the owners are friendly. I didn’t expect a lot from a cheap stay but there were some inconveniences that wouldn’t cost them more money but would improve the experience of their guests:
I had to wait in front of a closed door for 20 mins because no one could let me in although I confirmed my checkin time (during regular checkin hours) in advance. If you are not there all day that is all cool but just send me a message on booking or whatsapp and then I could at least have had a coffee somewhere or something while waiting.
I got shocked by the shower. Apparently it is a thing in central america. Maybe hang a sign?
About the cleaning and other amenities just dont expect a lot but the owners ask a very fair price so I have nothing bad to...
Read moreIt's cheap, but that's the only good thing. It wasn't clean, the kitchen is poorly equipped and dirty. The whole building is in construction (but no one is actually working on it). There's one table with three chairs for more than 10 rooms. The Wifi is so bad, websites need to load for 10 seconds. There was no soap and no towel, I had to ask for it. She said she will bring me the change after I paid, but she didn't. I had to reach out to them the next day.
It's a cheap place to stay when you don't have any expectations. But this place could be actually nice, if the owner and the staff would be motivated to make it a nice place.

Read moreCan’t speak to the rooms but I had a booking with this hotel on Booking.com - I realized 2 hours after the free cancellation window closed that I wouldn’t be able to make it there and Casa Luna graciously waived the cancellation fee. For me that deserves some appreciation and a 5 star review. I will look into staying here...
