The good: One of the closer and least expensive options near KEF airport for overnight layover. Close distance = less costly taxi ride than to Reykjavik. Facility, shared restrooms/ showers & sleeping chambers were clean. Host was friendly and helpful. |Kitchen has free hot chocolate/coffee and juice dispensers, fridge to store your own purchased food (there's a grocery open 24-he's about 10 minute walk away). Property owners provide ride back to airport for approximately $35 USD. Sleeping pods are stacked two- high: I recommend requesting a top pod so you don't have noise of someone moving around above you. ||Meh: Everything in Iceland is noticeably more expensive than Europe (especially with weak USD). Even so, hotel is on outskirts of Keflavik in light industrial area/ surrounded by auto repair shops. Sleeping pods are blow molded plastic packed in one room. All other options in Keflavik seemed to be more expensive but $92 per seems quite pricy given location, basic accommodations, no breakfast, not much in way of your ~typical tourist...

We stayed here for the last night on our trip to Iceland mainly because it is very near to the Airport and we had an early morning flight to catch after dropping our rental car. |There are two buildings of Blue Vikings, one is the Guesthouse and the other is the Studio. We went to the one shown on Google which was the Guesthouse only to be told that we had been booked at the Studio which is right across the street. |Parking was not an issue. The room for three with a private bath was amazingly clean and comfortable. The small kitchen area was well equipped. |Breakfast starts at 3 am and was an added bonus as we had to leave early. |Could not survey the surroundings as we arrived late and it was raining but yes Blue Vikings looks like a warehouse from the outside so don't judge it by appearance... It is cosy and...

We needed a place to stay for our last night in Iceland before an early morning flight. We found Blue Viking Studios on Booking for a very reasonable rate a few months prior to our trip so we made a reservation. ||Upon arrival, the location was conveniently located in Keflavik, easy to walk to the waterfront, stores, etc. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a microwave and hot water kettle to make some food. The mini fridge was useful in keeping our drinks cold.||The staff was very kind and helpful. They booked a taxi for a timed pick-up to go to the airport in the morning. Breakfast was available early (starting at 3am) for anyone to go grab some snacks and coffee before heading out. ||Overall, I would highly recommend this spot, especially if you're looking for an affordable local...

Let’s be clear. If you have an early flight, this is the olace you can spend the night before flight. Otherwise, don’t There is nothing wrong with the cleanliness, the furniture, the beds. It is minimal but totally functional ; everything is based on good willing, benevolence and savoir-vivre of the customers. There is a policy of not making noise after 10pm which is not respected. This for two reasons - the noise the rooms and furniture and doors make - the travelers who leave at 3 am in the morning or those who arrives at 1 am All of that creates a nightmare of noise above your head when you sleep on ground floor and I slept 3 hours max from 10pm to 5am. Too much noise. I did not like it. This kind of places should be noise-proof and actually this is the opposite

We stayed for 1 night after our cruise, ideally located close to Keflavik airport. We had a quad room, which was clean, tidy and comfortable. The toilets and showers are separate, again very clean and perfectly adequate. There is a lounge area which is a nice touch, there's a hot drinks machine, toaster and kettle, a fridge for storing your food in if needed. The only issue we found was there is only a few parking spaces outside the property, we had to park across the road overnight. The price was good and booking was easy. We would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Immer zwei aufeinander.
