It's a funky little place with lots of character.

We stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip on extended layovers so we could rest up and explore a bit. You can tell that they put thought into the rooms, and try to make them as nice as possible. A bit eclectic, but so am I.

We did have to wait several hours to get into our room, but were told by the host to head to The Library at the Park Inn, which was okay. It was a bit of a long walk, and very cold for my older traveling companion. We would have really appreciated being able to at least sit in the lobby/living room to wait.

We were able to get very comfy and the beds were very nice. The place was really clean and had some essentials to make you feel more comfy like: tea, pasta, pots, pans, a sink/kitchenette (in one of the rooms upstairs). The bathroom in the second room we stayed in was really modern and I liked it a lot.

The upstairs room smelled quite strong because it had a scent-thing and caused some trouble to my asthma, so I just put it away under a towel, and it was okay. Just a heads up to people sensitive to smells.

We were able to borrow a converter, and requested to use it when we got back for the second stay. I specifically asked about this because I didn't want to cause an inconvenience. The guy told me it would be there for us to use.

When we arrived, I called to ask for it, and was met with frustration by the female owner. She agreed to bring it by, but made sure to let me know that she wasn't happy about it. She was abrasive, and got loud with us. I wouldn't have mentioned it if I didn't already see that another guest had a similar experience.

WATCH YOUR STEP because some of the thresholds are quite high, and we banged our feet up a bit.

The guy owner was super chill, and nice. No issue with him.

It's a good place to stay, and overall I was pleased with this place to...

I stayed here on July 13th before flying out of Iceland. After two weeks in a campervan, all I wanted and needed was a bed and a hot shower. I received far, FAR more with Nupan Deluxe. I walked in the front door and felt very much at home. The vibe I felt was like an American B&B, but also part hostel. The shared spaces - the kitchen, the living room, the patio with hot tub, the hot drink nook - all felt like an upscale Bed and Breakfast. The room itself was a single and contained a bed, a chair, and a small dresser. So, fairly sparse, but what else would I need? ||||The WHOLE house was sparkling clean - spotless! There were plenty of towels for the showers, an iron and ironing board available, and shared spaces for travelers to leave useful items behind or take something as they start out. ||||I loved the hot drink station and the inclusion of a bathrobe. It was so cozy on a chilly day!! ||||The free shuttle to the airport the next morning was easy to set up and right on time. There were little restaurants and shops in the area - very walkable.||||If I am ever back in Iceland, I would love to stay...

I really loved this beautiful spot and it’s one of the reasons to come back to Iceland in future.||Every single detail of the design or furniture or cutlery or linen etc tells you - you are going to stay in a museum with a very special attitude to the guests. A very homey atmosphere is in every corner. It’s like popping in to your friend’s house who really loves decorating their place.||Though we stayed only overnight (arrived at 21.00 and left at 3.30 ), I enjoyed every moment there. I couldn’t make myself go to bed trying to absorb the positive emotions of the accommodation. ||All the rest is according to the description of the hotel which you can find on booking.||The taxi to the airport was 3500 isk early morning and took 5min||The only thing I regret is that I didn’t text this review on Booking.com (by mistake I smashed the screen and was unable to come back to the site again). There’s only my top rate 10 on 02.02.2023 which proves I really stayed in Nupan Deluxe.||I definitely recommend this place! ||Don’t miss the pearl which will make your visit to Iceland...

This was our final lodging in our 11 day Iceland holiday, so we were surprised at the room we got for the price we paid. It was spacious and roomy with three beds, and came with both an attached bathroom AND a kitchen. What we loved about this place were the additional touches - although the guesthouse does not provide free breakfast, guests are encouraged to leave unused food or amenities behind for other guests, and in turn other guests can use such food items or amenities. So we had access to free shampoo and soap in the bathroom, free coffee and cereal in the shared kitchen, and even free instant food mixes in our attached kitchen. It added such a personalised touch and made the guesthouse feel more home-y. There were even food and dining recommendations in the information booklet thoughtfully provided to guests, and we were able to rely on the recommendations for our final dinner. The bed was also comfortable and the shower ran very hot, and as a result we had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. I fully recommend this to anyone who wishes to stopover in Keflavík.

I was having a very unpleasant experience when the owner got into the my room in the morning and wake me up out from sleep after a very long flight. Moreover, he did not leave the room until he charged me for my stay there although there were a few hours left before my checkout. I should notice, I had an issue with my booking because I checked-in after 12am at night, what caused a confusion in my booking date. However, there is no restriction to to do so, neither in the guesthouse booking's website which allow this arrival time, nor in in guesthouse FAQ section. I also sent out an email before my arrival which they did not respose. Eventually, I would expect a more polite and accommodating behavior from the owner, nevertheless if it was my mistake or his. In general, my room was good and the entire place is clean and nice.
