OYO Royal Grand Residency Near Lalbagh Botanical Garden — Hotel in Bengaluru

Worst experience ever in this hotel. I was asked to pay double the price shown in oyo. The receptionist told that they don't have tie ups with oyo anymore. After a lot of heated arguments with the receptionist and waiting for about 45 minutes still I had to pay ₹1000 per night. I booked the hotel for 3 nights. After reaching the room, l found used bedsheets and a dirty blanket which was changed after l requested. They didn't give me towel and I found one in the cupboard hanger which was stinking like hell and small cockroaches all over the towel. The room was stinking all around. Also there was cigarette smell all around the room when l entered. The stinking and cigarette smell however faded in itself after staying for one day. But there was no room service with no cleaning or changing of bedsheets or linen after staying for 3 days. The room and bathroom were far too small. Water geyser was in working condition and water facility was there. Even l was provided with the wifi password which was working well but l have to pay ₹20 per water bottle which was actually ₹10. Outside food was allowed as I ordered every night from Zomato and Swiggy. Lift and wifi was in working condition. There are no restaurants nearby so you have to depend on food ordered from Zomato or Swiggy. There is a tea stall nearby who prepare good tea and a market nearby. Behind the ATM there is a lane which takes you to the market. If l would have to pay the price listed in oyo l would have given a five star but the way l was treated at first asking to pay for more money made my experience a utterly bitter one. If you are looking to book this hotel, read the review I posted and book at your own risk. Not recommended for family as l haven't seen a family staying here. I found only couples staying here. Solo is fine...

Only location is good rest all is bad about this hotel. The owner is such a rude person no one can imagine. Thank god I went with my wife and her group of 6 womens. There is a guy who usually drinks and definitely he can mis behave if no male person accompanies a group of 7 girls. I was in a argument with him and I almost hit him due to bad behaviour.

Windows are broken. Washrooms are very dirty. Rooms are not cleaned for ages. Spiders are ther in the room. Crokroaches are in the almirah and side tables. No dental kit, soap, water bottle provided in 1300 inr per room charges. They are just looting the guests. It was our urgency to stay there else it is highly not recommended to stay there.

Tv is not working and suspect to have cameras fit in them. So, I will lodge a police complaint post...

Very bas expereince. Owner was very rude and unprofessional he don't even know how to talk kindly with people let alone behave properly with customers. He charged us extra while check in. Rooms are bad they have some weird smell. Other staff seems to be nice but owner definitely need to leave the business and go to himalayan or somewhere to calm himself.
