Shivanna Gulkan has undeniably earned its reputation as a standout shop, and my experience with their Gulkan fruit was nothing short of amazing. The freshness and quality of the Gulkan were exceptional, leaving a delightful taste that lingered on my palate. The shop's popularity is well-deserved, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying the unique flavors and textures offered by their Gulkan.
Additionally, I indulged in a variety of their famous chats, including the enticing Pani Puri and the flavorful Bhel Puri with the added twist of Nepetu Masala. The explosion of flavors in each bite was truly a gastronomic delight, showcasing the shop's commitment to authentic and delicious street food. The creative use of Nepetu Masala added an extra layer of excitement to the traditional recipes, making the experience even more memorable.
While the overall experience was fantastic, I must note that the pricing seemed a bit on the expensive side. However, the exceptional quality of the Gulkan and the outstanding flavors of the chats somewhat justified the cost.
In conclusion, Shivanna Gulkan is undoubtedly a must-visit for those seeking a culinary adventure. The Gulkan fruit and diverse chat offerings, despite the slightly higher pricing, make it a standout destination for food enthusiasts looking to savor unique and...
Read moreHere is a professional but very negative feedback statement:
I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at Shivanna Gulkand Center in V V Puram. I ordered three Trivenis with butter and maska for Rs 200 each (total Rs 600), but when I opened the parcel, there was neither butter nor gulkand, only a few pieces of fruit, some dry fruits, and some ice cream. For the price charged, the quantity and quality were shockingly poor, and the product did not match the description provided. To make matters worse, the ice cream price was blacked out, raising questions about transparency.
Despite visiting during the festive crowd of the Gowri festival, the store was deserted—a clear indication of declining service and customer trust. This purchase felt like a complete waste of money and was an extremely disappointing experience. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend Shivanna Gulkand Center to anyone. Customers deserve much better, and such practices are unacceptable for a business with such a longstanding reputation in Bangalore's food scene. Note: Prices not mentioned on the board which is also trick customer consume his product and demand the money.
Very disappointed...
Read moreThis is the place where Gulkan got its companions - Butter, banana and ice cream. Shivanna its founder is believed to have come up with this dish. Their Masala coke etc is really a perfect match with the chaats they give. Try their finger length chocolates hidden in those glass bottles. Well, try their gooseberry soaked in some syrup. Overall, a great place...
