Hotel Welcome — Hotel in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

I would give zero start if I could. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I booked this hotel online because it said that the hotel had wifi and parking.

But when I arrived at the hotel, there was only street parking. I had to park it in the street in front of the hotel. Every evening I had to struggle to park my car on the street outside as there were always so many bikes of drunkards there.

There was a liquor shop right next to the hotel's main door. And men were drinking openly there all night. Some men even passed comments on my wife. So that made the atmosphere really uncomfortable for us.

Coming to the room, the wifi was not working at all on the second floor. Upon complaining about it, they didn't shift us to the first floor or get the wifi repaired. It didn't catch a signal on our 2nd floor room, and sometimes there was a very weak signal but with no internet access. The initial room that they gave us on the second floor, the toilet jet was not working. So they moved us to another room on the second floor. Nothing was good about this hotel stay. The price was way too high for the quality of service. I feel cheated...

Hotel Welcome is situated on MI road and when you are in Jaipur, things can't get any better for most of the tourist place in Jaipur are very near to the MI road, and the the market is a cherry on top. But that's as far as the god things about this hotel go. Fir starters, they have got very poor management. Till the time there were only three cars, they were able to manage the parking. But as soon as another car came, they were confused and struggled to get things in order. Next, I would say that the price set for their rooms is not worth it. There are a lot of buttons that you have to switch on before you finally get the geyser switched on. So, I would recommend you to confirm that system beforehand. Their room service is very poor. We asked for towels and it was 2 hours when we finally got them. The same goes for their food. But the food was good. They have free WiFi, but that is no reason to increase the rating. They have a very nice restaurant on the terrace, so I would recommend you to have your meals there instead of the room service. The interior on the entrance is very beautiful. I was there for about a week. Once while I was walking through the entrance to my room. I saw the manager at reception asking about double to triple of the room rent to a guy of 50-55 yrs of age. The guy was requesting them to reduce the price telling thrm that he is here for just 6 hours. He has a flight in the morning and just wanted to rest but all in the vain. The manager being so greedy told this guy that it is a delux room and the only room available at the moment but actually there was plenty of vacant rooms and the price was also more than double. I think that the auto rickshaw driver has told the manager that this guy is really tired and badly need to rest so you can charge him for any amount you want (most of the drivers get commission from the hotels).

So guys be careful about such greedy hotels and auto rickshaw drivers. Have a...
