It's an old restaurant with its charm still intact. Located on the posh MI road and right across the famous lassi wala(must try), the place doesn't boast of a grand facade but for those who know, it is right where it has been for so many decades now. My folks wanted to relive the nostalgia of a different time in their lives. Firstly, the food was great. The service was prompt and people were courteous. For instance, a large group was there. The hosts quickly went about rearranging the tables so that the whole group could sit together. However, the guests split themselves into smaller sub groups to avoid trouble to the movement of waiters.. similarly we switched seats to move away from the AC and quickly someone cleaned the next table for us. Parking is scant or even non existent as it's the posh and busy MI road but the lanes next to it provide adequate space(some legal some encroached upon by people looking for parking 😇 of course). Inside the restaurant, there is a seating area upstairs that opens in the evening only(that's what we were told, however some VIP was taken upstairs while we were dining downstairs...anyways we didn't want to crib as the food and gr8 staff were enough for us maybe). The seating above(for Info) has cave-like interiors that give you a unique experience. The portions were not large but sufficient. The highlight of the meal was the fluffy, delicious naans...they even provided food with almost zero spice/ chilly to suit the elders and...
Read moreWe were on a holiday to Jaipur and based on a few mixed reviews decided to have lunch here. We had lunch straight for two days. The food is too notch but the attitude of the service staff is awfully poor. We ordered chapathi with ghee 4 numbers and kofta gravy for it. As we aren't from Jaipur we did not know the custom there. A plate with pickles and a cup of raita was placed on our table while our order was getting ready. We thought that the raita and pickle were accompaniments to the chapathi and kept calm. While we did not even touch the raita, the waiter came to us and just gave a sarcastic smile and said...raita is for the second table but I gave it to you...and said..."chalega na"... We kept calm as he did not say that it should be paid separately. To our surprise the bill claimed raita amount Rs. 350/-. How rude... The kofta gravy itslef was only Rs. 380/- but the raita that we din order was charged almost the same amount. I request the staff here to admit the flaws and be more courteous. Don't fool people who come to your city and to your restaurant that too with a hungry stomach....there's a saying that goes..."Aditi...

Rating: 1/5
I recently ordered a thali worth Rs 600 from Nataraj, and it was a total disaster. Unfortunately, the quality of food and service fell far short of expectations.
Major Issues:
1. Poor oil quality: Unhealthy and unpleasant. 2. Stale food: Not fresh, affecting the overall taste. 3. Tasteless dishes: Lacked flavor and seasoning. 4. Subpar rice quality: Not up to the mark. 5. Low-quality ingredients: Used in preparation.
Avoid Nataraj if you value your taste buds and health!
For Rs 600, I expected a far better experience. Sadly, Nataraj failed to deliver. Public, beware! You might want to consider alternative options.
Suggestions for Nataraj:
1. Improve oil quality and freshness of ingredients. 2. Enhance taste and seasoning of dishes. 3. Upgrade rice quality. 4. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
Hope Nataraj takes customer feedback seriously and revamps...
